{ BRAVE Only <3 }
The day was beautiful, sun shining without a cloud in sight to hinder it. The sky was blue and the smell of summer was strong in the air. The city was bustling with people out for a day in the sun, some headed to pools or cookouts with family and friends, others getting shopping done while the weather was nice and they could spend it without a worry of getting rained on. That sentiment was shared by many and it made the sidewalks crowded. People pushing strollers or pulling children along chatted on their cell phones or checked shopping lists.
Finley Joel Peterson was one of the many spending his day outside. His light brown hair was half pulled up by a sleek black clip, letting wavy tendrils fall around his face while keeping it off his neck. His eyes, one iris as blue as the sky and the other a light chocolate brown, were lined with black eyeliner, giving his almond shaped eyes more definition. There was a healthy flush to his cheeks and he'd made sure to apply plenty of sunscreen to keep his skin safe. Aside from his odd eyes, Finley looked like an angel. The seventeen year old looked down at his cherry red cell phone, swiping his thumb across the screen to check something.
The shorts he was wearing were black, not short enough for him to look like he were selling himself on the street, but their tightness definitely gave off a statement. Connected to the fabric of the shorts, light black mesh covered his stomach, sheer enough to be see-through. They connected to his top, which was cut off at the sleeves and left his slender forearms visible. Finley wasn't overtly muscular- he had a dancer-esque form, like a swimmer or a gymnast. A pair of scuffed up Converse covered his feet. Despite all of that, Finley didn't come off as a scary boy. In fact, the smile plastered on his face was distinctly friendly.
He pushed open the doors to Hot Topic, a rush of AC cooling his skin and causing goosebumps to rise as he went inside. The boy hummed to himself as he browsed through the piercing section.
