He slid a pad over to Finley's half of the table and nodded his head towards it. "That pad is filled with sketches of your tattoo. You can pick the colors. I just need you to tell me which ones you want, and what tattoo you want. These aren't solid - I can edit them however you'd like."
More than half the pad was full of the pictures. "Yep." He smiled and picked up Finley's smoothie, opening the lid and taking a sip from the cup itself rather than the straw. "Pretty tasty."
Finley smirked, setting his smoothie down. He grasped his shirt by the hem and pulled it over his head, "You don't have to ask me twice," he quipped, turning around in the chair.
Kalian placed the trace tattoo against Finley's skin and waited for it to set. Once it did, he got his needles ready, pushed Finley into a better position for comfort and ability to tattoo more easily, and his needle hovered inches over Finley's skin. "Are you sure?"
About half an hour later, the tattoo was done. "You're done." He smeared a little cream onto it, taped it with a bandage, and held Finley's shirt at his side.
"Hmm, that hurt, but not as badly as I expected," Finley mused, sitting up and stretching his arms above his head. He twisted his body, trying to catch a glimpse of his new tattoo.
"Don't move- hold still- dammit!" The patch that covered the tattoo fell away and Kalian raised bright green eyes to Finley's face. He secured it again, then reached for the mirror. "Here."
