His hands scooped up the white powder from the ground, and threw it out from in front of his cottage door. Lifting his hands up to his lips, he blows warm air onto his frozen fingers and hopes that the feeling will come back.
He lived in Winterfell; although he looked as of he was not born in the region. Scratchy brown hair covered his head, the long, untamed locks forced back into a makeshift ponytail. Tarnished silver eyes looked over the snow, the brightness of the precipitation making his usually light brown eyes less saturated with color than they usually would be.
He was a bakers son, now a baker. His name was Asp; and right now, he looked at the snow with such intense concentration, it was as if he was willing the ice to combust into flames. It most unfortunately, did not.
"Come on, Aslane!" A high, pretty voice called out and it echoed among the quiet snow-filled scenery. A young woman dressed in furs came darting over the freshly fallen snow, leaving a trail of footprints behind her. Most of her face was hidden by a hood, except for a pair of light blue eyes and a wide smile.
A young man chased after her, not as graceful in his running as she was. They were both laughing and the man threw a snowball at her back as she ran.

Lifting his head, the young man watches the two run past him. A small smile forms on his face underneath his hands, and he blows in them again, rubbing them together. He continues to watch them before bending down to pick up more snow to toss to the side. His leather boot nudges aside a large rock that had been covered up in the white powder, and he shuffles forward, moving away the snow.
The girl ran around, laughing, until she spotted Asp moving snow. She smiled and ran over, "What are you doing?" she asked, clasping her hands behind her back.

"Moving snow," he slowly answers. He straightens his back, looking at her with an armful of snow, "Some people, they don't like having to swim through snow,"

He hesitates for a moment, "I really... Would hate to ask that of you," he starts. He drops the snow to the side, the from of him and his arms wet. "But, if you don't mind."
