I don't think there's a limit on the number of characters you can have total, you just have to be able to afford to purchase one. So, I don't think you'd have to get rid of any existing characters unless you want more points, more room for more active characters, or if you just want to keep better track of your own characters.

It's not really enough reason to keep them. I mean, you pay Crim with your points, and then she has points she doesn't do anything with. We either need better prizes that people will actually buy, or to just get rid of them.
