Why was he being so nice all of a sudden. Her lips stayed like stone however, unyielding to his touch. Her mind screamed to kick out at him, get away, do something, anything. Bu she feared pain, and she feared him. She would not give him the satisfaction of punishing her, not again. She whimpered softly and tugged her head back slightly again, finding that his grip was too strong to escape by using force.

Cain chuckled, "You're so intent on pullingb away."

"I want nothing to do with you," she mumbled softly, letting her dark hair fall to the front her of her face, her eyes down on the bed sheet.

"Well, now you have everything to do with me, my little angel," Cain told her, sounding pensive about it.

A sound of despair left her, and she stared blankly at his chin.

He lifted one hand and moved her hair back from her neck, running his fingertips over her smooth skin , "It's not all terrible.."

She shivered, "Yes it is," she mumbled, though there was some truth in his words.

"You're not dead," Cain wound a strand of her hair around his finger. The way he said it had the ominous tone of 'yet' tacked onto it.

She tried to pull away before realizing he had hold of her hair.

The demon clucked his tongue, "Not so fast, little angel."

She sighed and rolled her eyes slightly, he was such a... such... a dick!

"Unfortunately-for you- you aren't getting off that easily," Cain chuckled, tugging her closer.

"Yeah, I've realized," she spat, her eyes venomous.

The demon raised his eyebrows, "Give me a kiss." He ordered flatly.

"No," she replied blankly, not even thinking about it, her eyes down on her knuckles.

"I wasn't giving you an option," he tugged on her hair.

"I don't care," she said, her voice sulky.

Cain grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her close enough that their lips nearly touched, "You better kiss me like you mean it or I might just decide to cut one of your prett little wings off."

She squeaked slightly in alarm and looked down at his lips, her wings quivering in fear, he wouldn't actually take them from her... would he?
