"Yes," Marnie answered with a gentle smile, "I think you can."

"How does this Friday sound? For our date?" Reagan asked after mentally going over her schedule, given all of the sports and the twenty-four-hour shifts with the fire department.

"Sure," Marnie gently ran her fingertips down Reagan's arm, "What time? I'm free anytime after five-thirty."

"i don't work Friday. How about seven? That gives you time to do whatever you need to." R Reagan offered.

She smiled, "Alright, seven sounds great. Should I show up at your place or will you come to mine?"

"I can pick you up." Reagan offered. "I don't drive it much, but I do own a car."

Marnie chuckled, and squeezed her hand gently, "Okay, I'll look for you around seven."

"Sounds good." Reagan smiled, bringing Marnie's hand to her lips.

The Fey actually blushed, something she didn't think capable of her kind.

Reagan let their hands fall back onto the blanket with a sigh. "Unfortunately, I believe it is time for me to be going. I could walk you back to your place?"

Marnie nodded, "Sure, if you want to."

Reagan reluctantly stood. "That's why I offered."

She hopped up, brushing any stray leaves or blades of grass off her legs, "Right, that makes sense," she chuckled.

Reagan gathered their food trash before folding the blanket and placing it back in her bag. "It lets me spend more time with you." She added sheepishly.

Marnie gave her a sheepish smile, "I like that idea as well." She didn't want to see Reagan go, but she knew she had to. At least she knew they'd be seeing each other again.

Reagan threw their trash away and started down the pathway. "So do you have days off?"

"Sundays," Marnie shrugged, "I usually take those days for myself."

"Just one day a week off?" Reagan asked in disbelief.

Marnie nodded, "Yeah, but that's okay. I deal with it just fine."
