Kelsier "Kell" Stark- Like the rest of his family, Kell is a little bit screwed up. He knows about all the bad things his father has done, because the man tells everything to his heir. Mostly when he's drunk. So Kelsier knows all his father's dirty little secrets, even things nobody else knows about. Kelsier is quiet, sarcastic when he speaks, and often aloof. He spends a lot of time reading whenever he can, which has had the effect of making him very knowledgeable. He's rude around other nobility, but when he's around the less fortunate he's kind and charismatic. When he was 14, his father took him to "become a man." Little did he know that the poor girl would be killed afterward. Wouldn't want a bastard child running around.

Elend Arryn- Young and handsome, but a little bit bitter, Elend hates the fact that he isn't the heir to his house's title. He might be only 18 years of age, but Elend has a fire burning within him. He has passions. He believes in a better, more just world. He sees suffering, but there's nothing he can do about it. Elend is very attuned to the 'common folk' and for a noble. Really, for a noble, he's not very noble-like at all. With messy black hair and often disheveled clothes, Elend doesn't care much about his appearance. He's more interested in other things, like helping the poor and caring for the sick. MTBA

Valette Snow- Daughter of the king, but a bastard nonetheless, Valette is a strong-headed young woman. Only 16 years old, she's had to grow up quickly. After all, they say that bastards grow up faster than other children. She has her father's brown hair and her mother's blue eyes. No one knows who her mother is, no one but her father. Valette often wishes she had gotten to know her. It's hard being the bastard child of such a powerful man and having no one else.

Game of Thrones - The Westerlands

Leim Lannister- A haughty young man who is very much like a peacock. He struts around for all the world to see, showing off his pride, but when it comes down to serious situations, he's useless. He wants to be a knight someday, but right now there's a small chance of that. He's 17, handsome, and has a small amount of natural talent. He's also lazy. He spends more time bragging than practicing.

The North - Lady of the House
Averyl Karstark- A pretty 19 year old girl with brown hair and grey eyes. Well, she's more than pretty. Some would describe her as gorgeous, or beautiful. Her beauty is revered in the north, and many a man has sought her hand. She was taught to be the perfect lady. Kind, giving, caring. She loves the snow, which is a good thing if you consider where she lives. She doesn't seem to mind the cold, and her father always told her she must have a fire burning inside her. She likes to go riding across the landscape, taking new paths each day. She doesn't like hunting; just riding. In fact, she could never kill another living thing, and she avoids accompanying the men when they go on their little trips.

Loner

David Eldred- He looks young, but in reality he's about 500 years old. He was born in 16th century Britain, a mutant with the unique--though common in current times--power of immortality. He's probably one of the oldest mutants alive. Most scientists think that the evolution of humans into mutant happened in more modern times, but David is proof that they're much older than that. In fact, he might have been one of the very first mutants alive. It's interesting to consider. He's lived many lifetimes, and so he's had many lives. He's had to move from place to place to avoid being found out. At least, the first 350 years of his life he did. When other mutants started appearing, he realized that maybe he could reveal his secret. People might hate him for being a mutant, but at least he wouldn't have to uproot his life every ten years. And he did have lives, even if it only lasted ten years. He's found friends a hundred times. Fallen in love a dozen times. Each time the things he cared about were destroyed. Sometimes by enemies, sometimes by time, sometimes by his own mistakes. David puts on a good show of being a cheerful, light-hearted person, but deep down he's tortured. He has a darker side that few are unfortunate enough to see. See, along with being immortal, David has a rather... demonic side. When he's angry, he loses control. He has to keep a tight reign on the beast at all times, or it escapes. When it does, he comes a heartless, merciless killing machine. His skin burns, turning ashen gray, his hair disappears, his fingernails turn into claws. He becomes a monster. Last time the thing was unleashed, he killed a whole colony of people. Ever heard of Roanoke, the Lost Colony? Guess who's fault it was that all those colonists vanished? It's been a long time since that awful event, but it's still as stark in his mind as what happened yesterday. Maybe even more so. He's lost control more recently, but never on such a huge scale, around so many people. He lives in a constant fear that next time it happens, hundreds will die. He tries to stay away from large cities, but at the same time he's drawn toward them. Maybe it's the thing inside of him, constantly longing to kill, that brings him to live in populated areas, its desires bleeding through. Or maybe it's the simple hope of finding someone to live a few more years with, something to keep him going. Someone to love.

Nephilim

Crystal Starling- She's been told her whole life she was beautiful. Sweet, talented, perfect. That was until she started burning and freezing everything she touched. She doesn't know it, but Crystal is Nephilim, and the descendant of an archangel as well. She grew up in a human family, a family that wanted nothing to do with her magical powers. They had her hide it, suppress it. They never bothered to help her learn to control it. So Crystal grew up in fear of her powers, doing her best to never use them, so how could she ever learn to control them? Now that she's 18, they're getting stronger than they ever were. She's terrified... perhaps terrified enough to run away from home. She has long silver-blond hair and brilliantly blue eyes.

Secret World - Nephilim (Sort of)
Matthaeus Comis- Quirky and childish, but with a dark side, Matthaeus Comis is definitely an interesting person. He never seems to take anything seriously, though he has more of an understanding of the world than most people. He's extremely intelligent, not to mention knowledgeable, having had over 2000 years. Matt was born in Ancient Rome, the son of a powerful man. His father was one of the original members of the Protectors, and so he was expected to become one himself. Dead at 26 years old, Matt was a Protector turned rogue, running away from the Academy when he turned 18. He actually lasted pretty long on his own. He'd been trained and raised to a full Protector, so he was able to defend himself. The thing was that Matt never liked fighting. He'd always try to find another way out of the situation, which is what ultimately got him killed. That, and his need to save other people's lives. In the end, the demons got the better of him. He died and, like the rest of his kind, went to the mysterious fourth dimension known as Purgatory. What's different about him, though, is that he somehow managed to find a way back to Earth. He can't get back to Purgatory now, or any of the other dimensions. He's stuck on Earth. He doesn't mind so much, other than the fact that he has to watch everyone around him die eventually. Having shed his physical form, Matt is immortal. Unlike demons and angels, who return to their dimensions when they die, he simply can't be killed. It annoys the hell out of the demons. He might seem light-hearted on the outside, but deep down Matt is sorrowful, more so than you could believe. He's lost loves, seen friends die, watched whole cities rise and fall. He's been to every country, every little town on the countryside, knows everything there is to know about past and current cultures. And you know what? He's tired. Tired of living, tired of watching others die, tired of being so alone.

The Wall

Payton Sherwood- An 18 year old girl with brown eyes posing as a boy. When she turned 16, she cropped her brown hair short and rode off to become a knight. Eventually, she ended up at the wall. Her goal is to become a ranger, but right now she's just a recruit. Once she's sworn in, though, she's almost positive she'll be a ranger. If they never find out she's a girl, that is. If they did... well, that probably wouldn't go well for her. Being a woman in the Night's Watch is one thing; lying to the Lord Commander is another. It probably wouldn't go over well. She's gone to great lengths to conceal her identity, including changing her last name. Her real name is Payton Brax, born and raised in the Westerlands. She's confident to the point of being cocky, and can be a bit rash at times... meaning 'most of the time.' She has a sharp tongue and a short temper, so you should watch yourself around her. She might be a girl, but she's picked up a lot in two years. She knows how to fight.

Alexei Karinsky- A gorgeous 19 year old Shadowhunter with brown hair and brown eyes. He a good Shadowhunter, but not really one of 'the best.' He's just proficient. Smart, effective, level-headed. He doesn't mingle with mundanes or downworlders. He's a good boy as far as his parents are concerned, and that's kind of impressive, given how strict they are. Some would consider him 'boring,' though it's a surprise he's not more uptight than he is. Although, among Shadowhunters, his attitude isn't exactly unusual. He lives for the hunt, for the next kill. Getting rid of demons was what he was born for, and it's really all he thinks he's good for. Who knows? Maybe he's right. When you're raised your whole life for one purpose, how do you find a different one?

Secret World - Packless Werewolf
Cameron Dahn- 18-year-old Cameron's always had a hard time, from the moment and through every second of his life. His mother died giving birth to him, so he grew up in a tiny, one-story house with his father. His dad worked as a mechanic, which is what Cameron is doing now. He joined the shop his father worked at when he was seventeen, and has been working their since, even after his father died in a accident at the shop. He lives on his own in that little house, trying to make ends meet. He might be quiet and a bit withdrawn, but Cameron has a strong spirit. He believes that things will work out in the end, and someday he'll be happy. Even though his pay is crap and he's alone in the world. And one more thing to make his life more complicated? Five months ago he was bit by a werewolf. Life sucks.

Garret Jensen - STARS - Team #1 Leader
Blue eyes, brown hair, average height. Jensen looks like a normal guy, but he's anything but normal. He's brilliant. He was always an a**, but he's even more so since his injury. He got his intestines nearly clawed out on a mission. He never fully recovered, due to limited medicine at the time. Now, instead of going out into the field like he used to, he's stuck calling the shots from the safety of the base. And he hates it. With the help of cameras and a com, he's able to lead his team nearly as well, but he'd much rather be where the action is. Due to this, he's bitter and angry, and usually takes it out on other people in the form of verbal abuse. He's rude, sarcastic, and even a bit childish. Okay, a lot childish. He doesn't ever admit he's wrong, he rarely listens to other people, and he hates almost everyone. He rarely shows his emotions, and many believe he's incapable of feeling any. He has a dark past, too, but no one knows about it. All anyone knows is his family is dead, like most of the team.

GoT - The Wall - Castle Black

Cartell Snow
Cartell was born in the North, the bastard son of a little-known noble. He was treated poorly from the day he was born, so it's no surprise that as soon as he was old enough, he ran away. Coming to the Wall was never in his intentions, but he doesn't mind that he ended up there. He went south first, but got himself into some trouble with a noble's daughter in the Riverlands. When they found out who he was, he was 'encouraged' the join the Black Brothers. So, here he is, back in the North, at Castle Black. He just prays his father never finds out where he is. He wants to be a scribe, since fighting isn't his forte. He's not particularly brave, either. His best attribute is his intelligence. He's also fair at art, but no one at the Wall cares about that. His ability with a quill has come in handy in forging signatures, though. His best friend is Payton, another recruit, and the two of them get up to all kinds of trouble. He's 19 years old with amber eyes and untidy brown hair.

Dorne | Lord of Starfall

Rylan Dayne
Before he was a lord, Rylan was an aspiring knight of the King's Guard. At least, that's what he thought. He wanted to be a knight, but everyone else's plans were always different. As the eldest, he was always going to become lord of House Dayne. A job like that is the very last thing he wants. He wants to travel the world, to see all of the Seven Kingdoms and maybe even the Free Cities. He can't do that; he's stuck at Starfall. Most of the time, he's uptight and doesn't say much, but if you catch him on a good day he's a completely different person, more like the young man he used to be. Rylan is a handsome man of 25, with blond hair and amber eyes.

Secret World - Shapeshifters - Unaffiliated

Emerson "Raven" Torr
Emerson grew up in a human family, adopted after his real parents abandoned him. Or maybe they died; he really doesn't know. He knows nothing about his biological family, and he doesn't care to. He hid his ability from his parents for a long time, until his mother found his journal while she was cleaning his room. He wrote about his ability to shift and how strange and somewhat cool it was. When she confronted him about it, he tried to convince her he was just writing a story. That didn't work. Instead of proving it and probably frightening his parents, he let them send him away to a psychiatric hospital. Once the doctors there were satisfied that he was "cured," they released him and his parents sent him overseas to a boarding school. He has a feeling they did it to get rid of him, because they never visit and hardly contact him through any other means. He's pretty much alone at school, since few people want to talk to him. He doesn't have anyone he really considers a "friend." The first day of school, when the teachers took a roll call, he told everyone to call him "Raven," which is the animal he shifts into. No one at the school knows about him, though, and he likes it better that way. He's a senior now, 17 and ready to graduate and get on with his life.

Naruto - Leaf Shinobi - Hokage

Kobi Inuzuka- Kobi has been Hokage for less than a year, and many still do not believe he's worthy. Even though he was hand-picked by the former Hokage, many believe he's too young and inexperienced. He's only 26, and while he's one of the most talented shinobi of his generation, many use his age against him. Even those who don't ridicule him openly are afraid to stand up for him. Even his former friends have conformed and blended into the crowd. Once, he was a friendly and outgoing man, but the past months have weighed heavily upon him. He rarely smiles anymore, and only interacts with people for formal duties. He's 100% committed to his position as Hokage and to the village, but every day he wishes more and more that he was still just a jonin. His primary weapon is a jo, a four foot staff, but he's talented with shuriken as well. He has black hair and light blue eyes. He has a ninken named Katsu, a huge, pure white wolf-dog.
