A servant turned the corner and began walking briskly toward them, looking nervous... It was an unfamiliar servamt...

Heisuke suddenly stiffens and raises his hand to the servant, "Stop--right there." he demands in a low voice, his eyes narrowed. He pulls Fae slightly behind him, shifting his weight to cover part of her.

Fae peaks aroud his shoulder, looking curious, her eyes flickering to the servant than at Hei-Hei

The servant stops, looking thoroughly confused," Yes, sir? I must talk with the princess... It's about te Ambassadors!"

"I don't know you," he bluntly replies to the servant, "--so you can talk from right there. You should know how it goes around here."

" Bu-but sir!" The servant begins to look panicked, taking a step closer

" It's alright," Fae soothes, holding Heisuke's hand gently and pressing against him as she stands by his side," What's wrong?"

" The Ambassadors... The...they're all dead..." The serant chokes out

Fae's eyes widened," H-how?? I saw all thirty of them this morning!!"

"Dead? They died in the castle?" Heisuke raises his voice a fraction before lowering it as he finishes his question.

" Ye-yes sir, we received order to take the princess back to her room... After all... She vowed never to draw a blade again..." The servant looks around warily

Fae frowns and nods

"Alright then," Heisuke nods his head, "Lets get back there hime, I don't want to get caught in a fight here. Too narrow with no doors,"

" I was insisted upon by sir Gannon to accompany you despite knowing your closeness, so please... May I accompany you?" The servant insists, staring at their clasped hands.

Fae glances at Heisuke and murmurs," Your choice,"

He presses his lips together, and urges Fae ahead of him, "Alright, but that means that at all times, I'm watching you," he huffs and turns away, "Can't leave a kid alone when there's a killer running around," he mutters with a hint of self-annoyance.

Fae gives him an amused looks but rushes ahead, the servant walks next to Heisuke, he couldn't be much more than a child..." thanks," the servant chirps weakly

Heisuke looks down at him, his greens eyes lightening up a bit in weak amusement. "It's my job to protect everyone," he reaches down and messes up the servants hair, "no matter how suspicious,"

" Really?" The servant's eyes glitter happily," I wanna be a knight too... Cuz... you get to be with the pricess all the time, right?"

"That's... a special condition, I think," Heisuke draws his hand back and scratches the back of his head, "You have to... you need to know the special rules of being a warrior first, before you get to protect the princess." he looks ahead, searching the hallway ahead of them and Fae.

Fae was pausing outside her door, looking a bit hesitant.

The servant smiles," A special condition huh?" He suddenly stuff his hands into his pockets," Well... You won't be protecting her for much longer..." He frown

Heisuke pauses mid-stride, "You..." he looks down at the child, "What have you done--what do you mean by..." His pace hastens towards Faerydae.

" It's not what I did.. It's what you did," the child smiles softly and before Heisuke could take more than two steps, a sharp pain explodes in Heisuke's back, immediately his body growin numb but he kept moving... His hands moving on their own to his sword

Heisukes' mind starts flying--what was that little brat making him do--nonononono...! "Fa...!"

He bit his own tongue but Fae looks up, looking confused. His hands unsheathe his sword, holding it in a loose grip and he hunches his back almost like an animal. Whatever poison this was was in the early stages of it's true potential... But still lethal.

She asks," What's wrong," her eyes flickering to his sword
