Kevin hummed and stood. He was still tired. "Hmm... I'm going to bed... Again... Since you two woke me up... With your annoying mouths and loud sounds..."

The boy stood up, putting his seraph blade away, "You sound like an old married couple," he replied in a dry, flippant tone. Shaking his head, he muttered in Russian.
Alex sat up straight, looking at him, "What did you just say?"
"I said, Men are all the same, young on the outside by old at heart.."
Alex narrowed his eyes. His mother used to say that, all of the time, even when Alex was little. It was pretty much her trademark.

Alex lunged forward and grabbed him by the collar, "Where did you hear that?!" He demanded, giving him a little shake.
At first, the boy stared at him with wide eyes before they turned stormy with annoyance, "It's something I remember hearing when I was small. Sometimes, I have dreams of a woman's voice saying it."
Kevin rolled onto his back, staring up at the ceiling and sighing softly. Now that he was fully awake he felt bad. He hadn't even offered for the boy to have a place to stay. Attacking them in the middle of the night and not knowing why... It must have been a pretty 'need to know' mission for him to be so confused. Maybe I should... He threw the covers off and slung his legs over the side of the mattress.
Kevin was standing in the doorway, gaping before his eyes narrowed. "I see we're going to have to make some arrangements in order to house both of you while keeping you far away from one another." He rested his hands on his hips. "Is there a reason why you two are fighting? AGAIN?!"

Alexsander's jaw clenched, "He had to have known who I was. He remembered something that my mother has always said, since my brother and I were young. I don't trust him."
"I told you, I simply remember hearing that as a child!" The boy yelled at him, hands balling into fists at his sides.

"You still /are/ a child."
"Don't say that, it'll piss him off." He waved a dismissing hand to Alex before sitting across from the boy, maternal instincts taking over. "Do you remember anything else from when you were a kid? Something that's connected to that voice?"

"No, only ever a woman's voice muttering that in a playful way," He shrugged angrily, "What's the big deal? It's just a saying. I don't know why he suddenly flipped out about it"

Alex scowled, not appreciating being dismissed.
"Alex doesn't know of having any brothers or sisters. Maybe you're a cousin?" He tilted his head. "What's your last name?"

"I do have a brother, or I did, but he was older," Alex contradicted quietly.
The boy opened his mouth, but paused. He never really used his last name- he was always told that he shouldn't give it away so freely, because it could put him in danger, "...Sarcoski," he answered after a moment, "My name's Luka Sarcoski."
