OLD . DAYS

[Light]

He clutches the bowl, the object shaking slightly. Yeah--he could try... but... he wondered still, how he ended up here. Shaking his head, No Name spots the bonfire, and starts trotting towards it.

[CrimsonMoon]

A figure stumbles free of the dancers and crowd, N'Reak. She collapses quietly in the grass a small ways away.

[Light]

No Name quickly walks over to her, avoiding bumping into anyone on his way to N'reak. He kneels down beside her, looking down.

N'Reak looks up at him, smiling and gasping a bit, her hands holding her sides," ... Hi," she whimpers softly

[Light]

"Hi," he says, lowering the bowl, "I brought you water," he blinks worriedly.

" Thanks," she murmurs, pushing herself up and taking the bowl, downingthe water in almost one gulp. She sniffs and rests the bowl on her lap, looking at him and forcing a tiny smile, wiping her eyes as if trying to stop tears

[Light]

He sits down, his frown deepening, "Did someone hurt you?" he asks, his blue eyes searching her for any injury.

"Nu-huh, just getting used to my new body," she mumbles, slowly seeming to fall forward and resting her forehea on his shoulder," Just feel my sides 'nd you'll see,"

[Light]

He wriggles his nose and puts a hand on her side, "Alright...?"

At first, he felt nothing, but than... It was as if four jagged scars had been carved into her ribs, creating four small bumps... It was odd feeling...

[Light]

"What are those?" he draws his hand back quickly, afraid he might hurt her. "They... I didn't see that happen,"

She blinks at him," Don't you have a soul spirit?" She asks, reaching out to pat his jead, wincing

[Light]

"Ah, um..." he tilts his head, "... like, those animals that were in the fire? There was a fish and a wolf,"

She nods an puts a hand on her chest," Mine is a Nymph, it told me," she chirps, tilting her head and staring into his pretty blue eyes gain, they distracted her so much

[Light]

"Ah... then," he points his head, and cocks his head to the side, "I'm a wolf?" --he didn't know how that one happened... "Did you get those because you're a nymph?"

She shrugs and murmurs," I dunno if you were the wolf or not... There was another kid getting their spirit with us so... It could be either one of you," she looks at her sides and nods," Yeah."

[Light]

"Probably him," No Name absently presses a hand against his chest, feeing the cold weight of his necklace, "I'm the outsider; right? It was pretty fun," he glances back at her sides worriedly before back at her face.

[CrimsonMoon]

She purses her lips and mumbles," But you have no place to go..." Her lip quivers a bit," A-and I want you to stay with me..."

[Light]

He lowers his blue eyes before looking back up at her--it was hard to smile. But he did; "I'll tell you if I start feeling like a dog; but I mean--No Name; maybe I just... don't have anything."

She frowns and pats his head, her breathing becomig raspy again," Y-you have me... And I bet the village'll accept you too.."
