OLD . DAYS

No Name lets his head drop a bit, and he nods. Frowning again, "You... do you need more water?" he asks, looking down to the ground.

She nodded weakly and mumbles," I dunno why i'm so thirsty... No one said being sea-spirited would be so bad .." N'Reak shakily stood up, wincing weaklh

[Light]

"Maybe it's cause your... element is water--you just need to drink a lot of it," he steps back and looks around, "Lets get you to the water,"

She smiles weakly and nods, hugging his arm and whispering," You'll be like... My big brother..." She chirps softly

[Light]

He blinks for a moment before looking down at her with a smile, "Alright then... little sister," he urges her forward as he starts to walk. "Lets get the little fish watered,"

She chirps in agreement, moving into a weak lope as they pass the border of the village and enter the darkened forest,

[Light]

He glances around as they walk, his blue eyes carrying a faint wariness to them, "Do you want me to carry you?"

[CrimsonMoon]

N'Reak looks at him and shakes her head," You'd just trip more," she rasps softly, gulping as if trying to breath better. She turns again and moves slightly faster, her steps confident but very weak

[Light]

He watches her feet, and glances up ever so often to see how much farther they had, "Y-yeah... most likely,"

She stumbles out onto the bank of the river, wading into the water after squirming out of her clothing impatiently. She went deeper and deeper, until she was submerged up to her neck and glances back, smiling

[Light]

No Name had sat down and pressed his back against a tree, his blue eyes looking up once he felt her eyes on him. "Better?"

She nods andcrawls into more shallow water, hugging her knees to her chest, even in the moonlight, it was pretty clear what those scars in her flanks were. Honest to god gills. They even seemed to rise and fall a bit more with her breathing as the cool water washed over them-

N'Reak sighed in relief and suddenly chirps," Can I see your necklace?"

[Light]

He hums a bit, and stands up. "Just don't touch it, okay?" he walks into the shallow water, and kneels down. Pulling the chain out, he holds it up for her to see.

She leans foreward to examine if, having to lift her new found gills out of the eater to get adequately close enough,"... Yiu think your memory'll come back?"

[Light]

"Maybe," he nervously wets his lips, "... But I... Yeah, it might." he drops it on top of his shirt, and sits down in the water.

She smiles , lowering herself into the water again," You scared?" She asks softly

[Light]

"A little," he admits softly. "just don't think I really want to know, who I was. Look at how I ended up nearly dead,"

" Than we should make some new good memories," She chirps," Want me to sing?

[Light]

No Name eagerly nods his head, "yes please,"

She hums and moves back into the dark water, she purses her lips and stares at him for a moment before starting:

Began colliding on a backdrop of blue

Blue lips, blue veins

He took a step but then felt tired, he said I'll rest a little while
But when he tried to walk again he wasn't a child
