Elizah eyed the castle warily, as he raised his knuckles to the door. He gently rapped on it, before calling loudly, "Hey..er...Lady? I have the princess you wanted."

Ari was walking in small circles behind him," Creepy, no guards, no torches... Are you sure this isn't just a bandit hang out?" She asks, gazing up at the large black castle sitting against a cliff," Even that village seemed dead..."

The puppy whines and wriggles restlessly in her arms.

The door opens a crack," Who is it?" A soft voice asks

Elizah opened his mouth, as if to answer her, though snapped it closed with a click at the new voice. "Er...I'm here to see the Lady, I brought the princess she wanted."

The young woman opens the door, familiar steel blue eues meet his," Come on in then, you must be freezing," she murmurs in a soft, shy voice like when she had first appeared. But through her simple cothing it was clear to see she was quite pregnant...

Eva glances at Ariella briefly and smiles sadly, beckoning them in, one hand resting over her swollen belly..

Elizah's heart caught in his throat, as he stood there, momentarily dazed. E...va? What the hell was she doing here at a place like this? No wait...was this another trick of his mind? He swallowed, his throat becoming dry all of a sudden. What on earth was going on?

Ari pokes his arm softly, looking worried,"... You ok, Mister Mad Man?" She asks, flashing Eva a brief smile before looking back at him.

Eva walks on ahead down the dark hallway, the torches not offering much light to penetrate the damp area though it was clear it was once a magnificent place...

He snapped back to reality and gave a shrug, walking past her. "Fine, just fine," he muttered, following after what could be Eva. What on earth happened, why was she working for a person such as the Lady? He frowned, as his mind tried to figure out everything, though to no avail.

Eva pauses for a moment, biting her lip and looking as if she was about to be sick but seems to swallow it and smiles weakly at them, her eyes showed no recognition of him and smiles at Ari as the princess places a worried hand on her shoulder," I'm ok," she whispers and glances at Elizah, her gaze becoming something like frustration... Toward something... Him?

She opens a large door which creaks loudly. Inside was a throne and sitting in it was a woman, a middle aged woman with long auburn hair. Her skin was pale but had a certain flush to it almost like sickness, like a rash. She smelt of death. Immediately her eyes widened slightly as she took in the princess, a twisted smile on her once beautiful lips making her seem so ugly but gorgeous...

" Oh, Eva, she's even more perfect than your report could have described," the woman stood up and made her way toward the Princess who shies away from the rank smell of death that surrounded the woman.

" Thank you, Lady.. But i don't even know your name... Or why you wanted to kidnap me in order to talk," Ari replies weakly.

Eva glances at Elizah once more, her gaze wavering slightly, even though she still didn't seem to recognize him. She looks away again

Even from this far away from her, Elizah recoiled at the smell. His gut rolled as he swallowed slowly, shuddering as the smell seemed to blanket the room. Giving a light cough -which only made the smell worse-, he gave a low bow to the Lady. "Miss. This is the person you wanted to see, correct?" He asked, keeping his eyes on the floor, trying to keep the small piece of bread inside of his stomach.

" Yes, thank you, Elizah... Eva will get you your payment and you may stay as long as you wish," The Lady smiles a sickly sweet smile and suddenly grabs Ari's forearm, causing the princess to yelp slightly," But first, a question..."

Elizah let out a soft sigh. Excellent, he would be able to talk to Eva, if it actually was her... He blinked, Ari's cry snapping him back to reality. He slowly straightened himself, wondering if he should do anything at all. Just in case, his fingers wrapped around the dagger at his side, taking a small step forward. "And that is...?"

" Am I beautiful?" The Lady asks in a sultry voice, that twisted smile returning. Almost immediately, Ariella looked terrified, who wouldn't? I mean... The lady was clearly off her rocker. The princess put her hand over the Lady's signaling politely that she was being hurt.

Eva leaned against a pillar and murmutd in a very soft voice," You are hurting the child, Mistress..."

The frown deepened as he took another step towards Ari and the Lady. She did not seem like she was fully there, some bolts had clearly come unscrewed up there. "Yes, you're quite beautiful, anyone who says otherwise is foolish," he replied smoothly, trying to get the Lady to calm down a bit.

Her grip on the princess's arm loosens and Eva gently guides Ari away from the mistress," Mi'Lady, please allow me to take the Princess to her room," Eva whispers, curtsying.

The Lady nods and murmurs," You may-" she approaches Elizah and places a hand on his cheek, the stench overpowering," How beautiful am I? Can you see any wrinkles? Any crows' feet?"

Elizah let out a quiet sigh, as Eva guided Ari away. Good, so at least that was calming down. Though as the Lady brushed her hand on his cheek, he couldn't help but shudder slightly. "No ma'am, you look absolutely perfect," he managed to say, giving her a smile.

" Thank you, dear assassin," she breathes, even her breath smelt of death... She turns away after what seemed like an eternity," When eva returns, she will lead you to your room until you are prepared to leave,"

Eva soon returns again, she looked exhausted and her hand was draped over her stomach," Excuse my absense, sir..." She murmurs, not making eye contact

When the Lady finally turned away, it felt like Elizah could finally breath again. "Oh...I'm staying the night?" He asked, blinking slowly. Had that been a part of the deal...? He couldn't remember now. Then again, he might be able to talk some sense into Eva, or perhaps it wasn't even Eva -could be one of her odd family members, he wouldn't be surprised of that...
