In the future where the population exceeded the Earths capacity, the government decided to put the children from the ages to 15 to 20 in a coma. They connected their consciousness to a computer game, and pitted factions against each other to make sure only a set amount of the kids would survive.
The children put into the game weren't told that if they died in-game, they would die in real life. So, forming groups based on ethnicity, they started battling each other in a fantasy based game the adults called World of War--filled with trolled and fantasy like monsters--spells, swords, etc.
Two siblings from the barren and people filled US enter the game in hopes to make a better life for each other. When they enter it though--they are surprised to find that the game has its own story line... and that the people and animals in it have their own lives... and are not so willing to let all the new additions to the world come unquestioned.

I haven't roleplayed a pair like that yet. So the game they're in... Is it like Skyrim? Or, like, WoW?
