He gave a childish whine, one that was playful, and pushed her hands away from his hair, smiling at her. "Can we have a sleepover tonight?" He gave her puppy eyes. "Please?" Often times they did this; she was like his big sister, even though he had a crush on her brother. She took care of him, and after one time when his parents had been arguing, they had had a sleepover. Now it was tradition. They'd bake several different things, then stay up and watch movies, and gossip, mainly. About Nikita's missions, about boys, about girls.
Nikita jumped down from the counter and clapped her hands together, "Oh, yes, that's perfect. I just bought a couple new things- and buy a couple, I mean a lot- and I want your opinion on them."

Nikolas wasn't too surprised though. Most rooms were like this; kept it from hurting too much when the time came to leave for an undetermined amount of time. Attachment was weakness. That was a lesson all horror movie characters needed to learn. And he knew this life was filled with many horrors.
Hopping on her bed and wincing at the creaking the frame made, he grinned at her a moment later once determining himself safe from concaving through the frame. "Let me see them then!"
