"Cas, come back here!" Alasdair Rhys scowled as he raced after his twin brother. Caspian's head of white hair, as bright as it was, disappeared among the crowd and he cursed under his breath. Cas always did this to him. He agreed to go with his twin to watch the Sting Races on the condition that Caspian stay by his side at all times. The Silent Ghosts had too many enemies for them to be cavorting in the open without a care in the world. He moved in complete silence, pushing past people and lowly apologizing as he rushed by.

Caspian grinned when he could see the Stings. They were so..big and mechanical and just...wow. His blue eyes were wide and the boy's lips stretched into a happy-go-lucky smile. Never-mind that he was in a gang that wasn't popular with the law- Cas just wanted to enjoy his day out. It was so rare that Alasdair allowed him to go out. He couldn't help but ditch his fuddy duddy twin as soon as the opportunity arose. Caspian cheered when the racers took off, whooping ad throwing his arms in the air.

(Uh, would it be ok if I replied? I have an experiment that's a mechanic who fixes the racing Stingers. He isn't hunted because the scientists are seeing how useful he could be [explanation is in his bio])

(Alright! I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't make you mad if I responded.)
He couldn't believe he was doing this, but he just had to see how the Stingers did. Especially since he had to fix half of them from last time. People parted before him like he had the plague, some glaring at him while others only raised an eyebrow. He didn't really care though, he was too happy. Besides, it was hard to hide when you were over six foot. Not to mention you were part dog.
Russell made his way to the front, right next to some cheering, white-haired boy. Russell grinned happily as he watched the great big machines whirl away. His grin was slightly frightening to behold if you didn't know him, but he leapt up and cheered all the same, howling slightly on accident. "WHOOOOOOO! That's my girl! They're all working flawlessly!" He said to no one in particular, mostly himself. The boss would be pleased. Well, at least not as yelly
Cas heard the cheer and looked at the 'man' beside him with a big grin. The sparkling look of excitement switched to wonder when he saw him, "Whooooa.."

Russell heard the exclamation of wonder beside him and looked at the boy. He grinned, excitement coursing through his already normally energetic body. "It's it awesome?!" He asked, talking about the racing clearly. He turned back to it again, cheering with the crowd. Due to his presence, not many people gathered near them so they weren't suffocated.

"I rarely get to watch the races themselves." Russell admired with a shrug, his eyes still on the track. "Boss doesn't let me. I usually only get to see them after the races when they're all banged up. Still pretty cool, but seeing them racing is like.... A hundred times better!" He said after a pause, thinking. The crowded suddenly roared when two Stingers bashed into each other. The big dog man only laughed. "Oh boy, that'll be one big scratch to get out!"

Russell nodded vigorously. "Yeah! Usually for my boss's Stinger, but a lot of times for the racing Stingers! They get pretty banged up during the race, so they come to me to fix em! It's pretty sweet, to be honest!" He admitted bashfully, grinning a big goofy grin. Then he had an idea. His boss wouldn't be back for a while. It wouldn't hurt. "Hey, wanna come see them after the race? I'm sure I'll have some to work on"

Russell's grin impossibly widened, showing his full set of teeth. It should be scary, but he seemed like such a lovable , goofy guy that it wasn't nearly as intimidating. "Awesome! We'll head back over after the race, alright? So let's watch this thing!" He said before turning back to the race and watching, turning into just another spectator, though slightly hairier
Cas chuckled and threw his hands in the air, cheering for his favorite racer. He should have been concerned about accepting a stranger's offer so frivolously, but Caspian was the trusting sort. Alasdair always said it would get him in trouble, but he thought his twin was paranoid. He'd trusted Tyrell when they'd first met and everything had been fine.

After the race finally ended, Russell turned to Caspian and nodded to him. "Alright! Let's head out! It's not far." He said before turning and weaving his way through the crowd. Once again, they parted easily for him, and soon they were out on the streets, heading down the road. A building came into view, a large garage for Stingers, and Russell headed inside. "Welcome to my workplace!" Russell said proudly. There were sounds of people working; machines buzzing and cogs whirling. A lot of Stingers were in the bays, being worked on by other mechanics. Only Russell was inhuman looking. "C'mon! We'll go to my bay." He said , heading up some stairs and going down a small hallway before entering a door. This bay was empty, though tons of tools and machines lined the wall. Russell walked in, his arms out wide as he did a short spin, turning to grin at Caspian. "Welcome to my domain!"

"Not super long." He admitted. "A couple of months." he added as a noise caught his attention. In came a Stinger, one of them from the race. It looked pretty banged up as well, and the piolet that came out barely glanced at Russell as he left him.
"I'll be back to pick it up in an hour or so." He said. Russell grinned at the man as he left and turned to Caspian.
"Tada! I present to you: a racing Stinger!" He said with a dramatic flourish

Russell laughed, which sounded a bit like a bark. " of course! Just be careful! Some parts are super heated!" He warned before going over and observing the Stinger. He could not label a single part or working on it, but Russell knew how every cog and wire operated on the big machine. It was something programmed into the canine humanoid, and he could hardly explain that either. He looked at all the scratches and bumps before heading into the Stinger itself

"Really?" Came Russell's voice from within the machine. He popped his head out briefly. "Why not?" He questioned before going back inside. None of the controls seemed bad. It just seemed that the outside was pretty banged up. He stepped back outside and went around to the back
