Arien de Cruce was not a cruel person. No, all those traits seemed to manifest in his older brother, Caius. Arien was the soft-spoken brother, the one who let others take advantage of him simply because he wanted to please. That was what his life was about.
He opened up the restaurant in the mid-afternoon, dressed in a pair of tight-fitting shorts, a small black waist-apron, and a v-neck work shirt. This was just his daytime uniform, mind you. It would be shed once night came and potential contractors came prowling. But for now, Arien looked like a happy, twenty-something year old man. He hummed as he flipped the sign to 'Open' and stepped back, admiring the restaurant.
One of the new boys Caius had decided to adopt into their little family skipped into the room with a few of the more dominant caracters that worked there. He hummed happily then slung his arms around Arien,"Hey~ Arien~ he purred happily. He had on a black v neck and slacks per daytime job in the place.
He smiled,"whatcha up to?" He asked. He was very peppy, kind and compasionate, a little too much so. Samuel didn't know how to protect his feelings, he wore his heart on his sleeve and was often hurt because of it.
He had slick silver hair, medium length, slightly covering his eyes. He was relitively tall and he wore color contacts to make his eyes look brown, the natural color being a blood red, a vampiric state.

"Just opening up the restaurant," Arien chuckled, his body swaying as the boy nearly knocked him off balance, "We have to get things open and ready, before tonight, you know."
Sam giggled,"need help love?" He asked happily. He happily took a box of alcohol and followed him to the back, stacking it with the others,"So Arien, tonight, do you have anyone special coming in for you?" He asked with a happy giggle. Samuel had always been curious about the other boy, having only arrived recently in this store.
He continued to help the boy, convincing the others and they finished earlier than ever.
Arien shrugged and grabbed a rag, wiping the bar down carefully. Caius would have his head if anything was dirty, "I don't know. I've had plenty of different people come for me, but right now I don't have any contracts. What about you? I know you're new, but has anyone expressed any interest?" He smiled softly at the other boy.
He shrugged, I had two the other night, and one just stared at me then went to talk to Caius so maybe" he shrugged happily,"It's gotten kind of fun honestly, there was a woman who kept glaring at me like I was stealing her men" he laughed
Samuel rolled his eyes,"they are clients, not dates idiot." He said with a smug little smirk on his face. He knew he could be very posessive too, but only in certain situations such as dates, not clients.
He laughed happily and smiled, "yeah yeah I'm not an idiot." Samuel stood from where he had sat on the counter,"I'm gonna go get my apron on" he said before walking away with a smile.
Arien folded up the rag and watched him go. He smiled- Samuel seemed like a pretty nice addition. That was a relief. He got tired of snooty, catty "slaves". They exhausted him.
Samuel had always seemed a bit odd to everyone around him, even his own kind, and nobody ever kmew why, samuel didn't even know why. But he accepted himself because what else could he do.
Arien leaned his hands on the bar and took a deep breath. He didn't know if someone special was coming for him tonight. He'd had certain contractors come for him multiple times, but he wasn't sure if his last contractor liked him enough to do that.
