Valerie groaned and tossed her head back. "I hate when things that you arent supposed to itch start itching." She looked at him again, wishing she were delirious once more. "What happens if I cheat?"

Aron raised an eyebrow. "Most likely scenario is you rip your stitches and we have to start this all over again."

Valerie paled. "Well then. I don't think I'll be cheating then." Valerie looked around the house again. "I don't mean to push too much but, what do you do around here all day?"

"I usually don't spent much time at my place," he told her. "I sleep here, and... do other things that involve the bed." He looked away, suddenly feeling awkward. He usually flaunted his sexual conquests, but with her it felt wrong.

Valerie grinned a little. "The ladies' man." She sighed then looked down at her nails. "I envy you that."

Aron frowned a bit, but his eyes were glittering with amusement. "Why? I never took you for the same-sex sort."

Valerie laughed so hard tears came to her eyes. "Dear heavens no, it's just that, I'm a virgin." She confessed still giggling and wiping tears from her eyes.

Aron's smile froze and then slowly faded as all sorts of inappropriate thoughts popped into his mind. Picking out experienced women was usually his thing, but the idea of being with her... for the first time... Showing her the ropes and all that. It thrilled him a little.

She shrugged. Her embarrassment returning. "I've never even been kissed."

Aron met her eyes. Suddenly, the urge to kiss her was so overwhelming that he had to stand up and turn away to resist it. He wasn't going to kiss her just after she said that. It would make him seem like a douche. He stared at the shaggy carpet for a few seconds, unsure of what to say or do. 'I'm sorry' just didn't seem like an appropriate answer, and he was no good with pep talks.

Valerie shifted on the couch. "I guess it doesn't matter though. I don't really know what I'm missing." She stood up and walked over to a book shelf she had been unable to stop eyeballing and stroked the spines. "Have you read all of these?"

Aron joined her, coming to a stop just behind her. The proximity made his fingertips tingle, but he didn't back away. "Yeah. I don't usually tell people that, though. I often like being perceived as a... what's the male equivalent of a bimbo?"

Valerie grinned up at him, trying to ignore the pounding in her chest at just how close he was standing to her. "Let's see, a douche bag. A playboy. A manhoe. Take your pick."

A slow smile spread on his face. Amused, with his usual air of confidence, but not quite as cocky as his signature smile. "Manhoe. I like that one."

Valerie giggled. "And who will the manhoe seduce next?"

"No idea," Aron said. "I'm not a really plan ahead kind of guy."

Valerie looked up at him and couldn't resist the voice inside her head and jumped up and down waving her arms shouting Me me me!!. She sighed, "no I don't suppose you are"

Aron smiled a bit and then leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Maybe I'll hold off for a bit," he whispered. Then he turned away and walked into the kitchen.

Valerie stared after him. Her entire being was numb and her cheek felt like it was on fire. What??? Her heart was racing and she was certain if it didn't slow it would explode.

Aron got two beers out of the fridge and returned to the living room. He offered her one of the bottle. "Thought you could use a drink," he said.
