Mes lets her head tilt to the side before she smiles, "M'kay! He looks like he camped out in front of your door for a long time," the blonde commented.

" Can you get him go come in?" He asks softly, closing his eyes. His hands curling in the sheets

"Yeah," Mesa pushed from his bedside carefully, afraid to jostle him too much. She quickly heads over to the door, her head poking out to chirp a few words at Vein. "Come on in, come on, come on," she urges with a giggle. She steps aside and opens the door for Vein wider, and the older one nods his head to her and sniffs his thanks. He looks over at Rori, his eyes looking him over carefully.

Rori doesn't open his eyes but began to shift slightly," vein...?" He asks softly, trying to put on a tough face

He purposefully makes his steps louder than usual as he walks up to beside Rori, "M'here," he mumbles.

Rori smiles faintly and opens his arms, obviously wanting a hug or embrace of some kind

Vein leans down in response, but doesn't fall into the other as Mesa had done earlier in her panic. "Better?"

He wraps his arms sround Vein and nods faintly," Thank you... But promise me some thing, please?"

[Light]

"Promise?" He questioned softly, his bangs falling into his eyes as he looks down at Rori.

" If I die, you gotta take care of Mesa... Ok? She wouldn't last long without protection..." He closes his eyes, voice growing very silent

[Light]

"Protect Mesa," he confirmed, his forehead creasing as he frowns, "You... be fine..."

Rpri opens his eyes and reaches up, cupping Vein's face,"... We'll see, but you have to promise me... Ok?" He looks both serious and incredibly scared

[Light]

Vein sighed, "Promise, protect Mesa, and you," his teeth grind together as he tries to smile, the corner of his mouth twitching awkwardly.

Rori smiles and hugs his neck weakly, closing his eyes and huffing softly

"I'm g...good at tha'," Vein lifts one of his supporting him up and brushes Rori's hair back carefully, "Yew jus' sit... And dun' die,"

"... I'll try," he mumbles, though he had begun to tremble in a way that made him almost like a small animal

[Light]

"Better..." he nods his head up and down, his chin briefly tucking into his collar bone before tilting back up. "Or... I'll follow... and bite... you,"

Rori grins faintly and kisses Vein's cheek," My loyal dog-" he murmurs, fading slowly into unconciousness, his eyes rolling back into his head

Vein began to panic briefly as the other went to sleep. He calmed down though as he carefully lifted Rori's arms off of him so he could stand up. "... hah..." he sighed out, scratching behind his ear.
