World: Kingdom of Alorè
Pairing: M/M or M/F
Need to Know: Magic based off of stones; classes like a video game (Paladin, thief, assassin, mage, etc.); land is floating islands connected by bridges, each island is different from the last, an underwater island can be connected to a forest island, and an island forest can be connected to a farm island or animal island.
Natsuyuki is a bastard prince that ran away when his elder brother became king. There was a bounty on his head among the to-hire in the kingdom, and he meets one of the people that want to kill him, who ends up 'kidnapping' him when the boy begs them to take him away and teach him how to take care of himself.
The new king, meanwhile, sends his guardians after the boy, and brands the person who helped Natsuyuki a kidnapper and kill on sight, which leads them to jumping island to island and fighting off the guardians in epic battles.
Finally Natsuyuki confronts his brother, saying that he doesn't want to go back and stay with the person he's been travelling with and insert touching speech HERE. That's the first part of the plot.
