A hand dove into a pouch and pulled out shuriken; one between each finger, and threw. They flew forward, and with a collective thunk they all were embedded into the tree. Leaves fell to the ground, and a foot pushed off of a branch. Hands that had been emptied just then were filled with catching a branch, and swinging around and then forward. There was another thunk, barely missing the fingers and hand of the ninja, and afterwards there was a sizzle.
The orange haired boy widened his eyes in alarm, and pushed forward with a bit of chakra to escape the explosive tag. It went off, and he bit down on his lip as the blast slammed into his back and knocked him forward. His hands went out in front of him, to grab another branch and stop his fall, but his fingers fell short and he landed on the ground, face down. He didn't stay prone long, though.
Soon he was rolling to the side, his hand darting back to the pouch of weapons to procure a black double-pronged kunai. He pushed up off of the ground with his knee and fell into a swift run, dodging more weaponry that had been hurled at him from the shadows. Cuts across his body stung mercilessly, and his aching ribs moaned in protest. Itsuki couldn't waste any chakra now, though. He was in a fight, and there was no one there at the moment to back him up in it.
His head swiveled and he looked side to side as a sort of quiet fell over the area. He held up his weapon in a ready position, just in time too. There was a glint in the shadows, and several shuriken flew towards him in a flurry. The Uchiha started blocking as many as he could, others shredding into his skin and a few hitting his shins and forearms.
His middle remained protected though, and soon his kunai was flying towards the shadow and his fingers forming a stream of hand signs, "Fire style: Fireball jutsu!" He hissed under his breath, before he exhaled and out flew a ball of fire. It sailed forward, and he didn't wait to see if it had hit.
Itsuki had barely been out of the village on an errand for the hospital when someone had attacked him. He didn't know, or care to know, who it was. All he wanted to do now was get to the gate, and get these herbs that his medic-nin sensei had told him to get.
