Shin-deep in water, the skin submerged looked a bit white, and chilled from the cool water that ran from out of the mountain. A fish lightly bushed past, it's tail rapidly smacking into the ankle as it hurried forward towards the sheer drop that waited ahead. Brown eyes opened, and watched as it jumped up above water for a moment before falling down over the drop, hundreds of feet down. The tall girl started back towards the river bank, and she sat down on it once she reached the muddy dirt and started to put on her sandals. Her feet were caked with the dirt from the bottom of the river, gritty and bothersome.
Aika stood up once they were strapped on and picked up her jonin jacket, looping her arms through the holes so that it sat on her shoulders. She zipped it as she began to walk, towards the edge that loomed close by. Peering over for a moment, her feet glowed blue as she put on foot out, and latched it onto the wall. From there she began walking down the side of the cliff, heading down towards the village that sat down below. It was early in the day, far before any civilian would wake up. The academy would start soon, as there were several children getting up and heading that way. Squads were starting their training, and people leaving out on missions were at the entrance to the village and leaving.
She touched down finally, after casually walking for quite some time, and started down the street past the Kage's building. Stagnant; that's what the village felt like nowadays. There wasn't a war to be fought, just the same go out and kill some bandits or rogues. It was so very freaking unbearably boring.
