For anyone who likes getting henna tattoos, I'd just like to share something I randomly learned. Apparently there's a thing called "black henna," which isn't even henna at all. It stains your skin jet black, and it happens faster and lasts longer than henna. It also often contains a chemical that can cause a life-threatening, chronic allergic reaction. Just make sure you know what you're putting on your skin when you're getting a temporary tattoo... same as if you're getting a permanent tattoo. If you're unsure, ask to see a list of ingredients. If they can't/won't supply one... well that's your first clue right there.
