The stranger looked over at Dante and immediately got a look of distaste, though he disguised it with a perfectly in place smile. He extended a hand. "Hi, I'm Satine, not- nngh nice to meet you." He had a pained expression on his face and Kay's teeth her clenched.

"Dante," he answered, taking Satine's hand and putting on a pleasant smile. "Kay's boyfriend."

"Manipulation?" The father looked alarmed and angered. He looked at his son. "Kay, is this man manipulating you?!"

"I'm not manipulating him!" Dante exclaimed, putting exasperation into his voice. "How could you think that?" How had this guy seen right through him. That's what he really wanted to know.

"I can see it in your eyes." He murmured with a silky voice, leaning closer to him with his gaze directed straight into the sitting male's. "I know your lies simply because you're letting me in."

"Hey, dad, can we go to Sati's house for a sleepover? Or... can I?"

"Of course, sweetie."

"Can Dante come with us?"

"I'd... rather not," Dante said cautiously. The less time he spent around this guy, the better. Even if it was an opportunity to grow closer to Kay.

The father looked at the stranger in his home.

"Yay!" Kay clapped his hands and hugged Dante, his arms around his neck. He pecked his cheek.

Satine raised an eyebrow, eyes narrowed as he watched the two. He wasn't going to allow Dante to ruin Kay's life.

Kay sat in the passenger side of Sati's car, the two talking animatedly before he pulled off the highway and headed up a lone street. There weren't any other cars, so wherever they were going was a private area. The trees parted on one side to reveal a fenced tennis court, and then on the other side a few miles off was another break to expose a huge golf course worth 10 miles.

Dante looked out the window, his eyebrows slowly rising. This boy... Satine... he must be rich. This was a rich man's area.

"I want to watch Walking Dead tonight." Kay said while he looked out the window in boredom and Satine laughed.

They continued along the single road, surrounded by thick trees again. After several miles the trees broke way to reveal a huge white mansion with large glass windows and a garden out front. There was a statue in the middle of the dark brick walkway toward the large front door.

Dante kept his mouth shut, not wanting to get involved. He didn't want to watch either movie, so there was no point in redirecting their attention on him.

Stopping the car in the drive, Satine and Kay got out of the mediocre car. In the drive were several other cars, though there didn't seem to be any other people here... Besides the grounds keepers, that is.

"You know they aren't my parents," Sati muttered while fitting the key in the hole. "They haven't been my parents for four years now."

Sati opened the door and walked in, revealing the entryway and large double leading staircase with the marble floorings, white walls, large crystal chandelier and black ornate iron railings.
