Nicholas generally wasn't a conflict starter; he was a peace maker who was often found at the back of whatever line was created, whether it be for the drinking fountain or the food web. However, this act was what caught the attention of three 'wolves who were watching him with varying degrees of concern. Only one held hunger.
Hands tucked in his pockets, he shifted from foot to foot in line for the movie theater, slightly irritated by how long the person ahead of him was taking to order their confections - how long could it seriously take? - when his fidgeting was halted by a hand placed at the middle of his back. Blinking in surprise and eyes widening, he turned to find a familiar face and relaxed.
"Jackson."
"Markov," he smirked, looking somewhat amused as he kept his hand hovering at the cloth of the tanned boy's black jacket. Jackson was a rather attractive young man just a few months older than himself who had the perfect life; his parents were rich, he had the house virtually to himself, and he didn't have a worry or care in the world. But Nicholas knew what lurked underneath; that Jackson didn't have the best relationship with his brothers, and that often times Nicholas served as somewhat of an outlet for the other teen.
"I didn't think you'd meet me. It seemed like you wanted to spend your time with Laina instead."
The young man in the leather jacket and pants slightly hanging off his behind scoffed with a roll of his eyes. "It didn't take long to sequester any needs of hers she may have had."
Nicholas would rather not investigate into what that may have meant.
