"Yeah well, we don't all stay in coffins or injure innocent people," she glowers stepping back a bit, "We're not all monsters,"

"I don't think you are," Jay said quickly. "I just make a point avoid magical creatures of any kind. It's nothing against you or your species."

"Avoid us?" She snorts a bit rubbing her ankle with the heel of her shoe, "Thats gonna be difficult,"

"You've got that right," Jay said with a sigh. "Especially with a name like mine." His face twisted as he thought of his surname. Magison. He should start lying to people, telling them a different last name.

[Light]

"Really now? Oh yes, I remember now," her foot pauses as she gets semi lost in her thought, "I thought it sounded familiar,"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Jay sighed. "I just want to be normal. Is that too much to ask?"

[Light]

"Depends on what you think normal is. I'll try not to get to offended by being put in the un-normal party for now."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Human," Jay responded. "Not with magical powers, not with a 'great destiny to fulfill.' Just human."

[Light]

"Everyone wants to be 'just human'," she murmurs brushing her pale blonde hair behind her ear, "But sometimes, its just not meant to be. A moth, no matter how much it wishes, cannot become a butterfly."

"I would rather be the moth," Jay murmured under his breath.

"Too bad then," she says in a sing-song voice.

Jay eyed her warily. He wasn't quite sure to make of this girl. "I really should get going," he said after clearing his throat. He lifted his guitar case off the ground. "It was nice meeting you."

(I find it highly amusing. I like to imagine them holding a conversation xD)

Beatrice tilts her head a bit and takes another step back turning halfway, "Alright then, don't stay too long in the dark."

(Oh... My... God. Okay, picture this. My David's saying "Allons-y," and yours is saving goodbye! xD It IS like a conversation)

Jay felt a shiver go down his spine at those words. What was that supposed to mean? "I won't," he said. Then he hurried past her.

Jay glanced over his shoulder, but he couldn't find her. With a shake of his head, he walked out into the street.

Beatrice walks out of the front entrance instead of the side like he had. She felt uneasy, and when she felt uneasy it was usually because something was about to go down.

Jay walked toward his car, which was parked on the street a few blocks away.

Beatrice pulls her jacket around her closer and watches the shadows- /there/. Her eyes narrow, someone was shadowing him.

Jay hadn't noticed anyone following him. He walked calmly to his car, though his mind was on that vampire girl from the café. Beatrice, she'd said her name was.
