She shook her head "ill be fine" she said feeling her stomach churn

She nodded and smiled at him "im glad your home" she said

Alice didnt look very happy "she got worse when you left dad" she had watched her mom go from playing with her and putting her hand on her stomach to feel her little brother or sister move to become this hallowed shell after weeks of food being upchucked and hearing mommy. Groaning and sometimes screaming in pain. She had heard her wake up in the middle of the night panting and sweaty, as if scared half to death.

Elijah nods slowly and murnurs," I' going to take you to a hospital, hon... I'll protect you myself..." He glances at his daughter," I'm sorry Alice... But i try to save as many lives as i can... Including yours and your mothers..."

Jane closed her eyes, drifting into sleep again.

Elijah just smiles and murmurs," You'll learn when you're older.. I promise..."

" When your older," e promises gently, nuzzling Jane's neck

Jane smiled in her sleep, her hand slid from his cheek

Elijah nuzzles her again and scoops up Alice," Now will you let me take a shower?"

Alice smiled and chuckled "you need to shave that beard off" she said fluffing it with her hands

" Lil jerkface," he teases and rubs his face agains hers," FEAR THE BEARD!"

"Ahhh no" she pushed the beard away from her. She struggled from his grip.

She laid in the hospital bed after the child was born half asleep, she looked extremely malnourished though she had eaten everything he had given het, sometimes not being able to hold it down. She held onto Elijah's hand panting, slightly sweaty from the pain and force of child birth. She now waited for the child to be washed and given to her.

Elijah was gazing at her sadly, kissig her again and again," Jane.... I'm going to take the family to a real hospital.. I want you so badly to get better Jane..."

Jane looked up at him and smiled weakly "you dont need to, im sure ill be fine" she said and then looking over at the crying child she smiled again, the clid was a healthy boy, he wasnt skinny nor was he plump and as they swaddled him in a blue blanket she turned Elijah's chin up "look, its a boy" she said kissing him back.

Elijah smiles and lowers the child into her arms," Now we just need to get you healthy.." He murmurs," and i won't take no for an answer
