The trails between kingdoms, the roads that travelers used to transport goods and ride, were always perilous. Aside from the recent outcrop of bandit groups that recently popped up, dark things have always lurked about. Some people claim that monsters slink through the shadows and fly in the sky- and they do- but it isn't always so simple. Some monsters aren't quite monsters at all, but man. Man is the biggest monster of all, no?
Hand-in-hand, linked by the intertwining of fingers, a pair walk down the dusty trail, kicking dirt in their wake. One was tall, one was short. A man and a woman, twins actually. Cecilia Firth's bright blue eyes were busy roaming the land between Caerleon and Odin, while her brother Brandon's eyes remained locked on the path ahead of them.
