"Why didn't you?" He asked, curious, yet cautious. He glanced at Alistair and Cat, his eyebrow twitching unhappily, then forced himself to look back at his half-sister.

Cat's dark eyes looked a little bit glassy, even though she looked quite annoyed. It seemed like such an unorthodox method.
