"How long has this been here?" Kit asked in awe, glancing over at his half-sister.

L As long as we Swiftberts have," she smiles and stops suddenly, there was a statue of a young man with a sword, a lion curled around his feet. She gazes at the statue,"..."

Kit looked from her expression to the statue and back, "Is this what we've come for..?"

Fae stares at the sttue a bit longer before shaking her head and palming her eyes," N-no... I jus wanted to say hello to my big brother..." She murmurs and turns away from the statue, her eyes waterig though her gaze was a hard mask

"Brother," He turned to the statue again, taking in the youthful face. Squinting in the darkness, he read the name aloud, "Theodore Swiftbeat.."

Fae doesnt answer but shivers, a tear sliding down her cheek,"...."

He knelt down in front of the statue, tracing the name silently. So this was a brother he never got to meet. He was the true heir and probably would have been a benevolent and fair ruler. Kit reached into his pocket and pulled out a small ring, something that his mother had given him when he was young though he preferred not to wear it for fear of losing it or getting it stolen. He placed it at the base of the statue and stood up.

Fae watches him and wipes away the tear, a small smile touching her quivering lips

He looked over at her with a small smile and nodded softly.

Kit nodded and brushed his hands off, "Lead the way."

Kit stuck close to her, since she had the only source of light in the dark tomb. What was at the end that was so important?

They seem to walk for ages, until they reach the bottom of the huge stairwell... It opens up into a hug cavern where great blue and white crystals glow and give off a faint light that pulses onto a beautifully carved floor... Int he middle of the cavern was a simply carved stone, just a smooth sphere... Fae approaches it and smiles slightly," This is my second time here so... Go ahead, touch it.."

"Touch it?" Kit glanced over at Fae, looking for some sign of a joke, "What..is it?"

" We dunno, probably just a giant crystal that absorbed magic... But supposedly if a Royal touches it, they'll get a vision... And i did, so if you dont than..." She shrugs
