Ok well what i was thinking was:
My charrie (a girl) meets a boy (your charrie) and they become friends, over time the two grow closer and closer (we will probably timeskip quite a few times XD because it will probably be years) they are both high school students and as the senior prom comes closer and closer the boy finally builds up the guts to ask her out to the dance, she of course has been waiting for him for a while and they both have feelings for each other, after a year or two or three they have started talking about marriage, but just as its coming up she gets diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. She worries he will leave her and while she contemplates her option they promise to be together forever,one thing after another she survives and they get married and have a child, a girl. The moms cancer comes back and she eventually (couple of years) dies and the father is left with only the child and his memories.
