"You didnt sleep with them while you were with me and if you did then at least you were discreet about their scent"she said bending over herself in pain

"Rose, please calm down," Jem begged. "You'll hurt yourself."

"Its not me that would get hurt at this point "she said knowing if she transformed it would be them

Jem didn't understand that statement, so he decided to let it go. "Please relax, Rose," he said. "Lie back down."

She did as told and laid down clutching her ripped shirt over the thick black inked seal.

Jem let out a breath of relief. "There. See, isn't that better?"

Orion moved across the room and took the girl's (who really need a name. I think I'm going to make her a character) arm. He murmured something in her ear, and together they walked up the stairs.

She watched them leVe and before cringing in pain again she made a sad face

"You should let it go," Jem said quietly. "You don't want him to love you anyway. Rion's love is destructive and painful. Trust me. I know."

She shook her head "i just wish he would care more aboit me than some hooker" she said "especially since we are mates even if i dont wish it to be true" she said.

"He does care about you," Jem assured her. "He just... has a funny way of showing it."

She scoffed then closed her eyes her body was on fire it hurt all over and her ripped clothing did little but enticed the male.

Jem took her hand and rubbed the back of it gently. "Are you in pain?" he asked worriedly. "Can I get you anything?"

She nodded "it hurts but what is there to do" she said in a strained voice and now it wasnt just her head that hurt.

"I bet I can find you some pain meds," Jem told her. "Orion usually has some lying around here somewhere..."

"Pain meds dont help if you look in the cubard right...there, there are some of the strongest pain killers but none of them ever worked" she said having pointed to a cubard above the sink.

"I'm sorry," Jem said sadly. "I wish I could help."

She shook her head and did her best to smile "dont worry its ok" she said before closing her eyes again and slowly drifting away

Jem sat there for a long time, just holding her hand, before realizing she wasn't awake anymore. Well, that was a good thing. You couldn't be in pain if you were asleep, right? He gently let go of her hand and then walked up the stairs to find Orion.

She winced in her sleep her body flaring up again in pain while she didnt notice it
