Aurora sat with Orion in his bedroom. The alpha male was checking her wounds, which were almost completely healed. She glanced up when Jem entered. "She's asleep," Jem told Orion. "How's she?" he asked, jerking his head toward Aurora.

"She's better," Orion said gruffly. He straightened up. "Aerie's going to be pissed that I changed another wolf, though."

Rose stayed asleep

"You should really try being nice to Rose, Rion," Jem said, crossing his arms. "She's your mate, after all. You have to live with her."

"I didn't choose her," Orion muttered. "I don't have to do anything."

"Plus, she seems like a b****," Aurora spoke up. The two guys turned to stare at her. "What?" she said, putting her hands on her hips.

Rose had saved the pack countless times from different things like bears and other creatures but also from getting caught, she was a idol to the pups and a friend to the adults

"She's not a b****," Jem said quietly. Although, admittedly, she did seem to have a bit of a temper issue. "She's just going through a hard time."

Orion snorted. "She should keep her 'hard time' to herself." He turned to Aurora. "You should go to bed," he said. "Jem and I will deal with Rose."

She was shifting on the couch in pain her body hurt all over and though she was asleep her body was depriving her.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Aurora glared at them before leaving the room and heading down the hall to the guest bedroom, where she'd spent the night the night before. Together, Jem and Orion went back downstairs to check on Rose.

She was curled into a ball her torn and ripped clothes barely covering her and her fists were clenched along with her teeth, in pain.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"You should get her some clothes," Jem said, eyeing her ripped clothing. He wondered what had happened to them. "She shouldn't have to keep wearing those."

Orion muttered under his breath as he went back upstairs to retrieve a fresh outfit for her.

She stayed in the same position on the couch clenching and releasing her grip every few seconds

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Jem walked over and sat down on the coffee table. He reached over and took her hand, giving it a squeeze. Maybe he was wrong; maybe she could feel pain even though she was asleep. She certainly didn't look pain free.

Feeling the squeeze her eyes fluttered open and she clenched her teeth in pain.

"Rose?" Jem said gently. He didn't want to wake her up, but she'd have to get up if she was going to change.

She sat up, sliding her hand from him to rub her eye "yeah whats wrong." She asked

"Orion went to get you some clothes," he said. "You should really change out of... that."

She looked down at her torn clothes "amd i liked these jeans too" she said trying to make him smile

Jem did smile, thought faintly. "If you don't mind me asking... what exactly happened to you?"

She hesitated for a second "it was the full moon last night and i dont particularly get along with others on those nights" she said looking away, if she gave him full detail he would never respect her.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Jem frowned, and then gave a nervous laugh. "The full moon?" he said. "What, did you turn into a monster and lose your mind?"
