Phoenix helped her to her feet and let out a slow breath of relief. "Are you okay?" he asked.

She stood and nodded "what the he*l did they do that for?!" She growled

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"The Sontarans are a warrior race," Phoenix explained. "They live to fight, to kill. They're invading this planet. We should leave."

She huffed "they still dont have to be so rude" she took a deep breath "whatever you say doctor"

(I was expecting her to ask him to save the planet from the Sontarans xD Her or Max)

Jennifer growled "fools really, so how do we drive them out" she said looking at Phoenix with a small smirk, already pissed off enough to change, and if they threatened her or anyone else again, she would explode.

Phoenix eyed her warily. "We can't do anything, Jen," he said. "The race that lives here is peaceful. They won't fight. And just the three of us can't do anything against a whole Sontaran fleet."

She growled "well im going to do something" she said then walked up to them and already fuming with hate, her hair started to float like it was in water , like it did when her alter ego came out

"Shoot," Phoenix said quietly. He was pretty sure that whenever she did that, it brought her days closer to her immanent death. He ran after her, grabbing her arm. "Wait," he said. "Don't do anything rash."

She looked back to him "then why dont you help me?"

"I..." Phoenix said hesitantly. "I don't like violence. It doesn't accomplish anything."

"Well, how do we make them stop?" She asked

Phoenix paused in thought. The Sontarans weren't an easy race to stop. In all logic, they only responded to violence, since it was all they knew. They wouldn't listen to peace talks or pleads for mercy. It was possible, however, that they could be... persuaded.

She waited for his response, the aliens looked confused while she looked pissed and ready to cut their heads off

"First," Phoenix said, "we need to get Max to safety. He's too young for this stuff."

Max huffed sadly "you take him, your the one who can teleport" she said

"I want you to come with me," Phoenix said tightly. "I'm not leaving you here alone for a second."

She looked at him and gave off the hints of a smile, it was nice to know someone cared about her "alright" she said

Phoenix took her hand and teleported them back where Max stood. "Come on. We're going home," he told Max.
