"Dad's been asking me how your doing," Densil softly says under the constant buzz. His smile settled down a bit, and he sets the large, clean pot aside and grabs another grime encrusted one.

Rori's smile fades a bit but he whispers," I'm fine... But whenever i look at the Lady Veil.. I feel so angry... And ever since i killed that guy... And his friend killed Hindad... I haven't been anle to feel any warmth.. Even when i sit next to a fire, i can't even tell what temprature this water is... Just cold," He blinks at the little girl," Though... She's been keeping me happy... Its.. Probably saved me."

Densil looks over his shoulder at her before back at the water, "I know how you feel--kinda. I came close to putting something in the Ladies food to put her out of our misery, but with her husband still kicking... I'd only cause a lot of people trouble." He looks up from the boiling water at Rori, "I'll just say to you... that you just do what you can, okay Rori? Like Handid did, like Mesa is doing, like father is trying. Take care of what you can, the rest will make it along the best it can."

Rori doesnt answer for a long time before suddenly asking in a quiet voice," Do you beleive in the Kracken... Densil?"

Densil tilts his head a bit and pulls his hand out shaking the red appendage, "I guess so, yeah."

" I saw it... Back at the village," he says in an almost inaudible

Densil blinks a few times in shock, the pot slipping from his other hand and into the tub of water, "You... did?"

" Shut up!" He snaps softly and hands him back the pot, moving to grab another," Yeah... The day the twins pushed me off the cliff..."

"Hmmm," he takes it back and starts scrubbing it vigorously, "Maybe it was meant to be,"

" Maybe... But there's a bed of seaweed right below the cliff.. I landed there, it was just sitting there looking at me," he laughs softly," like i was some kinda moron..."

Denis snorts in laughter and ducks his head, "He was probably wondering why you didn't throw THEM off the cliff,"

" Yeah. Probably," he snickers and puts the pot on the counter , moving onto the next one

Densil rolls his shoulders back as he sets down another clean one to dry and reaches back for another, "Have you don't anything else interesting the past few weeks?"

" The guards training me finally are taking me seriously... I can fight really well with two swords.."

"wow," he tilts an eyebrow smiling, "Sounds like you're doing just fine with that stuff, huh?"

"Last time I saw him he was helping repair the barracks roof," Densil answers tilting his head to the side, "He might still be there."

" Would you mind if i went to see him?" He asks

"Not at all," he lightly nudges him away, "you've helped enough for today, Sea-salt, so go see him."
