A short pink haired girl with pupilless red eyes sat in front of the school on a saturday, a beer by her lawn chair and a gun in her hand, about 12 meters away from her was a stacked pile of bricks on a plastic table. She wore a black t-shirt which was covered by a long white jacket, too big for her but her thin curves and slightly malnourished looking body was shown by the black skinnies which were lose on her thin legs. She yawned and her black, pink tipped ears twitched. She was bored, and on a day like this, with no sun, no rain, just clouds, this is what she did. She raised the shotgun and cocked it, pulling back the slider then pulling the trigger, the shot flying straight into the top brick and shattering it without making the walk even shift.
she looked around then sighed again and grabbed the beer next to her chair, taking the last swing of it she pulled a cooler from under her chair and shoved aside already opened beer bottles to grab an unopened one, she put the finished one in the case then closed it and put it back under her chair. She used her fangs to pry the top off then spit it out, taking a first swig of it.
Freya was, as she usually did, off in the woods nearby the school. She was always searching for something to give her a challenge, something to remind her of better days. Dashing through the woods in a blur, Freya would jump up into trees, swing to another tree, and then land to continue running. Running seemed to be the only way to get some of that adrenaline back from fighting, and sometimes she would run into creatures like wolves and even a bear in the woods and be able to fight them.
At the sound of the gunshot, Freya slowed down and stopped. It was one of those machines humans loved using. Freya say their use, but she loved an axe or a sword better. She could see her enemy die before her eyes, defeated in an honorable way. Curious, however, Freya decided to go see who had fired the weapon
After taking the swig of beer she shot the gun again, doing the same she did with the brick which was now one of the top bricks, the wall didnt waver though
Freya finally arrived at the area where the noise was coming from. Freya looked over at the girls curiously. "She didn't seem to be in danger. Then Why the gun?
She cocked it again after taking another swig and shot the brick that had been next to it, watching it shatter, without disturbing the rest of the ttower.
Freya frowned and finally stepped forward. "What are you doing?" She asked I. That heavily accented voice of hers, the accent too old to place what it was. Freya raised an eyebrow at the girl, her amber eyes full of questioning
Greta felt her irritation build, and she wasn't one for dancing around a subject when annoyed. "You're wasting ammo on bricks and making a loud, annoying noise." She said
She shook her head "fool" she picked up the bottle and it transformed into five new bullets. She rolled her eyes at the girl and continued to shoot the bricks.
Freya flinched at the word fool and felt her temper rising. But, instead of wastin it on this punka**, she did what she had learned to do, go elsewhere to spend her rage. And she knew just where to go too. Turning and dashing off, Freya headed for a certain bear cave she knew about. The bear there was huge and vicious, and just the challenge and distraction Freya needed then.
She continued to shoot until she got bored again and had a buzz. She had been annoyed with that chick and now she felt like hurting someone, she. Stood up and staggered into the woods, her gun in hand and her ears down.
Frets rushed father and father into the woods until she came to the lairof the huge grizzly that lived there. Upon arriving, Freya fou d the bear sleeping inside. She picked up a rock and threw it at the beat, waking it up. Roaring a challenge at the bear, Freya taunted the bear into coming out and charging at her in a rage. Avoiding the initial swipe, Freya grinned. This was much better!
Freya continued with her fight, dodging another swipe as the bear stood on its back lets and roared at her. Freya took the chance and lept at the bear, nailing it in the stomach with a full body tackle, and knocking it over with her momentum.
She transformed the gun into a dagger and put it in a holster on her back. She continued to walk until she saw a wolf, a pack at that, she smirked and crouched, her ears down from drunkenness.
Freya rolled in the dirt with the bear, growling and wrestling. Due to her vampire strength, she easily matched him. But even without it, she'd matched enemies just as fierce. As she wrestled, her mind flooded back in time and she became virtually dead to the world, fighting automatically.
