It was the late afternoon in the village, the light fades and a blood red moon begins to rise in the east... A long man walks into the village gate, he wore the cloak of akatsuki, both of his eyes were closed yet... It seemed he could see. His blood red bangs cover his face and a small pony tail puts the rest away from his face.... As he walked... He seemed to be oblvious to the people around him...

She was still playing in the small playground, seeming to talk to herself under her breath as she pushed herself forward on the swing, and then backwards. She didn't manage to get high, no matter how much she tried, as her little legs were not yet long enough. She had been told by her mother not to use chakra outside of the house either so she didn't alert anyone that might be looking for her... or what's inside her that is. She didn't care though to be honest. Standing up from the swing she steps away from it and begins to exit the playground in a slow, calm pace.

An old woman suddenly shiffles past her, the old lady from the dumpling stand that everyone called Grandma... The old lady stops and smiles at her," Little Hinada! Hello!"

Civilians glance back down the street and begin to move faster away from the young man, Several Anbu emerging from stores, moving calmly to block the young man's way

The tiny silverette looks up at the old woman and gives a small smile, "Obaa-san," she excitedly runs over to her, "hello!"

The old woman's cloudy eyes seem to notice the quickness and tenseness int he air as se smiles toothlessly at the little girl and puts a gentle and shakey hand on her head," Did your jackal fried visit you today at all?"

She shakes her head puffing her lip out a bit, "No, not today... but I think he will soon!" she blinks a few times and mentally shakes off the bad feeling that was sinking into her stomach.

" Ah... Well, could you help an old woman walk to her house? Besides, we live next to one another so you could go home too... It's getting dark," the old woman rasps with a friendly smile, resisting the urge to grab the child and hobble away as fast as she could. The bad chakra seeming to invade the air

Hanabi nods her head, "Of course," she agrees readily, seeming just as eager as the old woman to get away from the area. It didn't feel right anymore, and seemed to upset that thing inside her something terrible.

The old woman glances back and stiffens slightly at the Akatsuki," Quickly now, child," The old woman urges gently, beginning to limp along quickly

The young man's face turns toward the old woman, never opening his eyes as he stops,"..." He raises a hand toward the two as if... Offering to shake their hands... And thats when the Anbu struck

"Obaa-san," the girl looks over her shoulder at him, her eyes widening, "Who is that?" she trips up a bit but continues to follow the old woman.

The old woman turns the little girl away, gripping her shoulders tightly with trembling hands," A bad man," she raps as the clang of steel rips through the akd

Hanabi squeaks and clings to the old woman, her eyes screwing shut. A bad man indeed--right? He was hurting people wasn't he? So yes, to her, he was a bad man. "R-right," she softly stutters.

The old women quicky herds the child down the abandoned street, a there was a horrible snapping sound that made the old woman flinch as she slides open the doorto her small hut and urges the child in

She quickly walks in, her amber eyes wide as saucers. Who had been hurt? "Ar...are they dead?" She asks herself, the sound a small whimper. She wraps her arms around herself and hunches forward slightly.

The old woman gently hugs the little girl and murmurs in a soft shakey voice," Do you want the truth or do you want me to make you feel better..?"

"Truth." She sets her lips in a line and keeps her eyes closed, "Lies aren't going to make me feel better."

The old woman glances back at the front sliding screen and rasps," Then i don't know... But if i'm correct, i can't head hear fighting any more," indeed silence had descended again

Hanabi falls still and looks at the screen, starting to shiver, "...He's not dead..." she whispers, "the bad man..."
