A whining sound reverberated throughout that area of the forest as Kai bowed his head. The whining sounded a lot like a wolf before a howl split through his lungs and his flesh slowly started to fall off to expose fluffy black fur.
After a while of agonizing howls of obvious pain, a large, towering black wolf stood beside the tree in Kai's place, vibrant caramel eyes looking around with suspicious wonder.
The wolf let out a guttural growl while he slowly turned to look at Okazaki, caramel eyes narrowed before his jaws parted and he snarled, slobber flying everywhere and canines glinting in the purple light.
The wolf let out a guttural growl before he stopped, a howl sounding from close by.
He slowly lifted his head and gazed around, scenting the air before he ran off howling.
After a while a short male wearing a cloak, the hood covering his face, ran up to Okazaki and grabbed his hand. "Come with me." The familiar voice stated with a hiss of warning.
The one in the cloak quickly led him back to the castle, leading him to the astronomy tower before he slammed the door and tore off his cloak.
"I'm sorry about Kai." Jae sighed as he leaned against the door, chest heaving as he tried to regain his even breathing. "He shifts against his will on the full moon."
"Ah, I see..." He murmured before shrugging. "Just because he's a werewolf doesn't mean he's special." He frowned. "Though... he's always been special to me." He smiled gently.
