Harold heard it and leapt to another branch, the arrow grazing his arm and making him grunt. He hit the ground heavily but kept going, but from his terribly ragged breaths, either he would kill himself first or get away from her. Either way, he kept going, running over rocks and roots, bits of blood trailing behind him

Harold keeps running, dodging and weaving through the trees. He coughs, blood splattering out of his mouth messily, and then again, more blood coming out. Finally, what stops him isn't a root of rock.... It's JonJon. Harold gets bowled over by the huge cat, who promptly sits on him, not letting him move. Harold, coughs out more blood onto his chin and neck, heaving brokenly, and glares at the big black feline. "Traitor." He says, but he smiles slightly. in truth, JonJon had saved his life. Satisfied with the crow not moving, JonJon looks over at Dari, flattening his ears and hissing loudly
Dari slowed to a near complete stop, lowering her bow and tilting her head, "What an odd little pair you and that Shadowcat make." The hawk flew down and landed abruptly on her shoulder. Talons dug into the leather and fur that adorned her body, grazing her pale skin.

"Yaaaaay, we're interesting! You hear that JonJon?" He asked, his voice oozing sarcasm, but the voice itself was weak and raspy. JonJon glanced back at him but then kept his eyes on Dari. the snow to the left of harold was a reddish hue, as the blood mingled with the water from his tunic and the snow on the ground
The wildling just smirked and set her arrow back in the quiver, setting the bow aside. She approached slowly, nothing innately urgent or dangerous about her actions. The hawk ruffled its feathers unhappily.

JonJon hissed angrily at her, but didn't attack, which was good. Those huge fangs of his could rip off a human's face. He backed off of Harold, and sat by his side, observing her with keen green eyes from a pitch black furred face. Harold was breathing heavily, and turned his head to the side opposite JonJon to spit out blood. "Ugh...." He murmured, his voice weak. He glanced at Dari, frowning in confusion and suspicion
The bird of prey shrieked at the cat, flapping its wings. Dari didn't seem to mind as the feathered appendages brushed her face as she knelt down beside Harold, "Stupid crow. You still try to swim and fly with such injuries. I thought crows were intelligent animals."

Harold chucklled. "Guess I didn't get the demo." he rasped, but coughed, quickly turning his head not to cough on her. "Well, you gonna kill me now? You finally got me, weak and cowardly as I am." He manages with a faint smile. "And sarcastic. let's not forget that."
Dari smiled and shook her head, "Stupid crow," she said again, not missing how he turned away to cough. It was a respectful gesture, despite him thinking he was going to die, "Can you sit up, Crow Harold?"

Harold raised an eyebrow at her and nodded. And sit up he did, not with a painful grimace and JonJon putting his head under Harold's arm to help him up. But he was upright, breathing heavily and bloodied. But hey! He was upright.

Harold looks at her with a 'what the heck' look, but obeys. Once he finally has them off, his wound is evident. His wound may have started out simple, but now it was irritated and open, bleeding slightly but steadily. It was a wonder he could run with such a deep wound, it had almost gone all the way through his side.
Dari clucked her tongue as she examined the wound, "You are stronger than you think, Crow, to run with a wound like this. It is a wonder you aren't dead yet." She hummed and removed her own wolf skin coat, tearing a large strip of the leather hide.

Harold gave a laugh, but grimaced when he did. "It only hurts when I laugh." he said, leaning against the tree behind him. JonJon curled up next to him, the cat putting his head on Harold's knee

Harold rolls his eyes. "Sarcasm is lost on you." He says with a sigh and a grimace as she ties it tightly, but does't complain. He knows it has to be tight to work, even if it hurts like the seven hells.
She narrowed her blue eyes at him, "It wasn't lost on me. I was just saying." Dari took the fur coat and wrapped it around the Black Brother's shoulders.
"Uh huh." He mused. He looked down at his wound and then back at her, giving her as strong a smile as he could muster. "Thanks, but why save me?" He asked, his smile fading as he leaned his head against the tree
"I wasn't just going to chase you down to kill you. If I'd wanted you dead, I would have made short work of it," Dari shrugged, "You crows can be interesting."
Her hawk, still perched on her shoulder, clicked its beak and ruffled its feathers.
