" Hmmm... probably take you t the hospita;, see i can get you a place to stay with Caoi and... so on," He murmurs

"I will bite if they try to poke me with one of their needles, human," Eli warns, "Or feed me any of their 'abominations'."

" Thats why you're staying with Caoi... she's a nice girl who makes edible food that doesnt try to kill you AND is not fond of needles any more then you... though she is a recovering alcoholic, but that wont change anything!'

[Light]

"...I only eat food raw." He withers and his shoulders hunch forward to make the jacket fall closer around him. "I will stay with this Caoi then." His eyes flit around and he wrinkles his nose, "and the Lion will be coming for her hatchling soon."

" Aevery, protegre or smeone else?" He asks softly

"Her names Protegere I believe. I smelled the one she calls her daughter on the large Pink one that was here earlier." He opens his mouth and seems to taste the air again, his forked tongue kept behind his sharp teeth.

Udolf frowns,"... Erin...." as pixels lift them both up

Erin was skipping gthrough the empty streets wit the little girl on his back, humming faintly," Almost there, I'll probably take ya to the Waffle House later.."

"They will need to be secured, the little one is considered very important among the fleet." Eli looks around nervously, his mouth snapping shut with a click. "But I think a mother's wrath is scarier than that of a leader."

She laughs happily, her hands in the air, "They have a house made of a food?"

" Why is that? Udlf asks, casting out his senses to try and locate them

Erin grins," No... but thatd be cool!"

[Light]

"You will understand when you come face to face with a mother that feels her child is being threatened." Eli twists his head around. "Or you will have hatchlings of your own one day."

"Cause then you could live in it AND eat it!" she nods her head up and down, the little plastic flower hair bands in her hair flopping up and down. One of the flowers begin to flash red and beep, and she frowns pulling on it. She releases her hair from it and looks at it in her hand, ""

Udolf pauses,"... I hope I will.." he murmurs

Erin blinks and sets her down, crouching in front of her and putting a big hand n her head,"... Does that happen a lot?"

"Every living thing does." Eli suddenly jerks in one direction. "There."

"No," she picks at the plastic flower and digs her nail into the crack, "Mommy gave them to me last week." she pops it open, and inside was a small chip.

Erin scoots closer and examines the chip," It's a tracking chip, love... We should probably leave it here so whoever's tracking you doesnt find you, yeah?" He smiles gently

She turns her hand and lets it fall onto the concrete, "I don't want them to find me." She looks up from the discarded tie and nervously reaches for his hand, "They're scary."

" Good... Cuz i dont want them to find you either," He smiles gently, before scooping her up and beginning to run with her.... Had to get away from it as fast as possible..

The redhead stayed still in his arms for a few moments before putting her hands over Erin's ears. From the cover her palms provided, the sound of someone scratching their nails across a blackboard magnified by five pierces the air isn't as painful as it would have been. She removes her hands when the sound stops and rubs her own ears, "Mommies here." As if confirming her words, far behind them, where they had left the flower, the sound of a woman screeching angrily echoes.

Erin blinks and shakes hi head to stop the ringing in his ear, whispering," Stay quiet, mk?" He rasps, forcing himself to run faster

She nods her head and fills her mouth with air. She flinches a bit when there's another screech, and a loud thud of something landing on the ground. A large something too--not like the bugs; but a robot of some kind.

Erin keeps running and quickly turns off to an alley, glancing around for someplace to hide her..

The little girl looks around as well and hunches her shoulders forward when the large machine begins to walk down the street, "GAAAAA-ZEEEEEELLLLEEEEE," it's speakers screech. The red head looks at Erin with watery eyes; the way Cloud would look at him when she knew she was gonna get punished for doing something she was told not to.
