He walked over and took the bundle from her grasp after the men gripped her wrists in a painful hold. "Thank you for the gracious donation." He opened the cloth, looking down at it at a safe distance from the woman so she couldn't get away and grab at it.

Inside the bundle was a bundle of chains covered in almost thorn like spikes. One end had a ornate hand of a dragon's head

Daichi glared at it with clenched teeth, green eyes narrowed. He spat to the side again, unthreatened by the massive object. Or, maybe he was, but he kept it hidden. He was the leader of his little gang for right now, and until the true leader of his group came to take things over on this patrol, he would do things his way.
