Daichi grunted but quickly regained his footing, glaring up at the monster and sliding to the left, gliding his blade with extreme force toward its chest.

The sword sinks less than a millimeter intothe beasts muscular chest before shattering like glass. It lands on him heavily, metallic claws sinking into his shoulder as it screeches into his face

Daichi clenched his teeth, glaring up at the dragon and slamming his blade into its eye to get it off of him.

Once again the blade hits the pupil and shatters into the smallest stub. The beast was like a living statue. It sneers at him with its horrible maw of hundreds of sharp teeth

By than, everything behind him had become quiet, the girl was on her knees, still blind to the world but sensing the battle

Growling in anger at his blades now becoming useless piles of rubble with hilts, he glared up at the foul beast, green gaze narrowed in wounded determination. He would always go down with a fight, but... this time, he knew he was no match for the disgusting monster above himself. He would have to give up. For now. Once he got the girl behind bars, he'd take care of the creature. The city sounded nice. Give them a bit of action.
