Ash followed her, just to keep an eye on her. She seemed capable enough, but... he didn't want to see anything happen to her.

She walked in silence for a painful second before trying to make small talk, "So... What are you doing in a dump like this then?"

"I have no place better to be," Ash replied.

She nodded. He was... different. But not weird different. Good different. Her pace slowed as she exited the crappy part of town, checking both ways on the street before dashing across. She could see that expensive looking mansion from there, then she started going through the routine in her head. Wondering if he was going to walk her all the way to the door.

"Where exactly are we going?" Ash asked. He glanced around at their surroundings, curious.

Snapping out of her daze she looked over to him, "oh I work for a family that lives up the street from here. I take care of their two little kids, ya know put them to bed, wake them up, feed them. So I'm like a nanny." That pretty much summed it up, "I'm going to their house right now," pointing up to the nice white and blue building that looked like a museum to her.

Ash was silent for a moment, staring at the house. "Sounds... dull," he said.

Leah giggled. "It is what it is. Im paid and fed, thats good enough for me."
