It was always a strange sight to see when there was a war going on, but bards and performers have to get their business somehow. And that was how Valeri found herself up in the North, stopped in an inn while she was traveling about. She had just recently played a song on her stringed instrument at a request, and was now sitting at a table, tuning it. After her song, some people had left, so there was relatively no one about.


Her dark brown hair fell about her face as she focused on tuning her instrument, occasionally plucking a string and smiling or frowning at the sound. She was dressed for the cold, in a thick fur jacket, but it was still strange to see a bard/performer traveling now, especially up here.
