Snowflakes floated down to the earth, covering the city and the forest around it in a white blanket. People were bundled like Eskimos and no one left the house without a pair of gloves and a heavy winter jacket. Kids were getting excited for the approaching holiday- everyone was in such good cheer!

On the edge of the woods, where a few trees bent to create an odd little alcove, a little blue light began to flicker, illuminating the snow. The sun was setting and it would soon be dark, but the light never grew any dimmer. It just sat there, shining as though waiting to be discovered.

Amber eyes gleamed through the trees, watching. The owner to tis gleaming eyes was a beautiful timber wolf. She had just been turned two short years ago where she continued to attempt living with her family, but when she stopped being able to control her changes she fled. Hopping a train towards the city. She found a pack and joined it, but eventually got sick of her leaders ways and killed him, taking the alpha position.
