There was a rustle from outside of her room and a whistled tune that filtered in. Bjorn was obviously awake and up on his feet

She yawned and stretched, going to the bathroom before walking out in her usual tight black clothing.

"Yo Kate! Here's breakfast! And I'm heading out today.0 he said, putting a plate of boar meat In Front of her with a smile

"Where are you going?" She asked looking at the boar meat with a little chuckle.

Bjorn shrugged. "Don't know. Probably just travel around to raid some caravans and all. Might run into Jess along the way or something, say hi."

"Alright, you know where the house is if you need something" she said

Bjorne smiled. "Thanks Kate.... For everything. I'll be sure to visit." He says with a chuckle. "We can trade loot and stories."

She smiled and nodded "remember im only a whistle away" she said then stood up

Bjorn walked over and gave her a sudden hug, being careful not to claw her, and grinned. "Yer alright in my book!"

She smiled and hugged him back "Your the best in mine "

The surprised him and he held her out at arms length, still careful with his claws. "Me? Why? I'm not that great." He said with a feown

"Of course your that amazing" she said holding onto his arms "your my only friend and your so nice, as long as you dont want to kill me, but even then, you get all handsome when your angry, not that your not handsome now" she said

Bjorn blushed profusely. "I-I'm handsome?!" He asked, shocked and confused

She looked away, blushing "well yeah very handsome"

Bjorn opened his mouth to talk, but found he couldn't. He shut his mouth before blurting out "well, you're beautiful. When you smile, it's warm, and even when you're mad you're adorable." He said, looking down at his feet

Her blush reddened and she looked at him from the corner of her eyes. "Your so cute when your all nervous, because it goes against that tough guy look i love" she said with a small chuckle.

"I'm not nervous!" He protested. "I'm just....." He struggled to find an excuse. "I'm not nervous!" He repeated instead

She giggled "its ok, im nervous to, i always get nervous around you, not that it really matters." She said looking away, /hes just complimenting me, he doesnt care about me in any other way than a friend/ she thought to herself.

"Doesn't matter?!" Bjorne asked, looking up. "Kate, I'm nervous around you a lot. Every time I see you my heart starts to race, ok? I think you're really pretty, and smart, and badass, and...." He trailed off, looking away
