"I think I would be concerned if you didn't want to kill demons." She replied, almost brightly, with a small smile. Brushing past him, she started off in the direction of Kingston.

Eros raised his eyebrows at her back. Hey, some people didn't like killing things. Not him, of course, but some people.

"You comin', pretty boy?" Destiny asked, turning around with one eyebrow raised.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Pretty boy?" Eros scoffed. He didn't mind being called handsome or hot, but pretty?

"If you don't like it, deal with it." She rolled her eyes. She was rather impatient and was itching to kill something. "In case you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly little-miss-sweetheart." She faked an innocent smile.

Eros gave her a dry smile and shoulder his way past her, taking the lead.

Destiny couldn't help but smirk, a little bit smug and satisfied to have once wiped that charm of a smile of his face, even if he had given her a dry smile she was glad there was no charm!

Eros stopped suddenly and held up his hand. "Did you hear that?" he whispered. He held his seraph blade lightly in his hand, ready to awaken it in a moment's notice.

Destiny had in fact heard it and she too stood at the ready, she piveted slightly.

Eros took a few slow steps forward, peering through the darkness. Something was there. He could feel it.

Destiny saw him take a step forward and she turned her attention over there, she could feel the same thing Eros felt but she remained where she was so he would have plenty of room to dodge or something.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Eros's senses were buzzing. He knew something big was about to go down. Just as he had that thought, an oni demon threw itself out of the window of a nearby building, launching itself right at Eros.

In seeing the demon Destiny instantly called her blade and it came to life, the brilliant life shining of the demon. "Eros, watch out." She called to him, not wanting to get directly in between him and a demon.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Jaesiel!" Eros shouted, and the sword flared into brilliance in his hand. He brought the blade up just in time to shove it through the demon's chest.

"Nice shot." Destiny told him distractedly, sensing for other demons.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Thanks," Eros said as he wiped the black ichor on his sleeve. "There are probably more."

"Agreed." The girl agreed, senses on high alert. She had marked herself before she left so she was covered in black markings silence, invisibility, strength, speed, and multiple other runes so she felt very prepared.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Eros held the blade in one hand and gripped a dagger at his belt with the other. He took a step forward, ears straining.

Only moments later, another demon appeared. Another Oni appeared moments later. "Lovely." She grinned, naming the seraph in her hands. The oni took a leap at her, she swung and the thing dodged and attempted to get at her again. She swung and plunged the seraph through the things chest and it dissipated immediately. "Wow usually oni demons are rather smart." She remarked thoughtfully.

"Must have sent the dim-witted ones," Eros said with a smirk. He continued forward on the balls of his feet. He spun around as another demon threw itself at him from behind. He fell backward as the demon smashed into him, but the seraph blade had gone through its chest.
