It had been a normal day so far in the church. The kids and Alice had gone over their lessons, and they had gone outside to play for awhile. Then they had come back in for lunch, smiling. Laughing. They had rosy cheeks and were vying for both of the blondes undivided attention. Heisuke was at his restaurant working, and Asid was in another kingdom spying on them. The town had been relatively quiet, but that only lasted for so long. 

It wasn't long before the air had come to a scorching temperature, and the one of the children screamed. "Fire!" the little girl wails, "The other part of the church grounds is on fire!" 

[CrimsonMoon]

Danny glances up from where she was taping up a toddler's scraped knee, her violet eyes widening," C'mere, kiddos, follow me..." She murmurs in her calmest voice," ALICE!!"

[Light]

The girls and a the few boys rush towards Danny in a panic. Alice stands from her sitting position on the floor, her chest rapidly rising and falling. "I'll open a path through the fire. Let's move everyone, okay? Be good, and remember what I told you. No pushing, and listen to what we say, okay?" A few of the children weakly chorus 'yes ma'am,' as the she nods her head to Danny. "It might be from the heat, we haven't had any rain in awhile."

Danny nods and scoops up the youngest child," I-i'll take them home..." She rasps softly, shushing the kids gently

[Light]

Alice pushes open the doors to the courtyard, her whole body turning rigid. "What is this..." she murmurs in a daze. The sound of an arrow being let loose zips through the air, and a flaming blur flies past her head and lodges itself in one of the pillars. That causes the kids to scream and panic even more, most of them crying and standing immobile despite her earlier words. The fire begins to quickly spread inside, and quite a few begin coughing from the smoke.

Danny pushes down a yelp and begins herding as many children as she could out of the room and into the back of the church," Hurry! hurry!" she urges them, coughing slightly but pushing them on

[Light]

Alice slams the doors shut and pulls over one of the fallen beams to the roof in front of it. She picks up a fallen child and starts towards the room as well, making sure none of them lagged behind.

Danny flung open the back doors pushing the children into the bushes," Hide and seek, ok?" she whispers," No moving, no talking, mk? i'll come back soon."

[Light]

Alice sets the girl down, watching her run into the bushes. "Soldiers," she says in a dry, choked rasp. Her lips had dried and her bottom lip was cracked from the unbearable heat. "My sword was in the other building."

Danny glances up and whispers," Fae wouldn't do this... she KNOWS kids are here!" but her gaze was terrified with one question.. 'right?'

[Light]

"I-i don't think so--"Yelling of the armed men comes closer, and the roof finally caves inwards behind them in flames. "We need to run,"

Danny frowns and looks a little teary," The kids-

[Light]

"We need to gather them back up, and get as far away from here as poss--" a childs from the forests, and her eyes widen in horror. "No. No no no no no...!"

Danny looks at thenforest worriedly, what now..?

[Light]

A man with a bloody pitchfork emerges from the trees, others following behind them. They were citizens of the town, people that lived nearby or were far across the map of Odin.

She took a small step back then suddenly looked angry," WHAT THE HELL?!? YOU'RE ATTACKING CHILDREN!!!" She screams... It was the first time danny had been angry in a long.. Long time

[Light]

Alice takes a shakey step forward, her eyes watering. "Monsters!" She screeches.

One of the men hurl a torch towards the and Alice ducks dodging it. It lands on the ground behind them and lights the grass, "Your the monsters, Heretics! Abominations!"

[CrimsonMoon]

Danny gathers up the children behaind her and yells," THIS IS ABOUT RELIGION HUH?!? NO RELIGION REQUIRES YOU TO KILL CHILDREN IN COLD BLOOD!!! LET THEM GO!"

[Light]

"All of your followers are to die!" Another man yells raising his makeshift sword, "We won't tolerate your presence on this earth any longer!"

Alice raises bother her arms protectively in front of the children, and partially Danny.

[CrimsonMoon]

Danny stares at them and screams in fury," YOU'LL ALL BURN IN HELL IF YOU HARM THEM!!!" She glances at Alice and whispers suddenly,"... Ali isn't here.. Fae obviously doesnt know this is happening... Asids gone... Heisuke's... I dunno... So Alice... You gotta take the kids and teleport to the castle or the restraunt..."
