"I'm not on the bottom. LAST TIME I was on the bottom the branch broke and you fell on me." She holds her arms up forming an X, and the bird flies up and lands on her head. "Gravity is mean to those who abuse it Ali."

Alice kept softly talking in her sleep, the words of fire and running. Sometimes she would drift off and start talking about the night as if she were there again, killing them. But most of her words were incoherent, and she skipped around. Only when she woke up did she stop talking.
