That's not Parco's harsh voice...it was a more soft, and silky voice, "Elia?" Now Adara was all shades of confused.
Why did she feel the mate bond between Elia? Parco marked and mated her! The bond was complete, what's going on?

Adara flipped them around so Elia's back was on the bed and she was on top. She sat up so she was straddling him, "What..." She was about to throw a million questions at him when she realized he was hurt, "Elia, what's wrong?"

Elia slid off her in pain, his body broken and beaten by her.

Of course the whole thing was a dream. It felt do real though...dream magic? To send a message from one person to the next, or to take over someone's dream..
It was someone she knew, or have seen before..those eyes, where are they from?

Adara jumped up, her eyes wide, "I've never done that before." She itched her head, confused, her mind was racing a mile a minute, trying to think if she every heard anything about this, "I've never heard.." Son of a b---t. Adara knew she saw those eyes before!
Elia's groans of pain brought her thoughts to a holt, "Oh no, I'm so sorry! I didn't--I didn't mean too..."
She kneeled down by the bed, "I can--I can fix it..."
It was going to take all the magical energy she had left, but she wasn't going to let Elia suffer, especially since she caused his suffering.

Adara gave him a her strength and healing abilities and also slowly undoing the spells that she had injured him with, healing him almost instantly.
Adara fell back wards on the ground, her body paralyzed from weakness.

He had healing abilities of his own, but one downside to his, they didn't work when the pain was caused by his mate.

Adara's healing magic worked no matter the situation, but the Achilles' heel to this magic was it took a lot of her own life force.

Once he was up he jumped for her,"Adara!" He yelled, picking her up bridal style.

"I'm fine." She said, her voice soft, "Are you?"

He nodded and laid her on the couch again.

Adara needed to masks sure she was right about the snake--she needed her book, but she didn't have any energy left to perform a spell for at least an hour. She looked at the man beside her.
"Elia, can you do magic?"

He chuckled,"you still underestimate me?" He asked.

"I need you to open a portal. Can you do that for me?"

"It's not a portal for transportation. It's more of a...pocket dimension. I used it to hid very valuable things, like spell books and secret scrolls passed down in my family." Adara explain.

That's exactly what she did. Adara intertwined her fingers with his and gripped his hand tightly.

He closed his eyes then flicked a finger and the portal was there without hurting her or draining her more and it used so little of his power he didn't even break a sweat while others might collapse from drainage.

Adara smiled, "You're amazing." She kissed his check.
The weak women got to her feet, her legs shook from the weight of her upper body, but she managed to stay standing.
"Book--" she cleared her throat, "Book of Crete." She spoke strongly.
A moment later, a book flew out and landed by her feet, the portal closed.
