She would have moved into his lap, but she was being mindful of his injury so she decided to take it gently. Dari was just happy that he kissed her, willingly.
Dari brushed her thumbs across Harold's cheeks. She was quite comfortable laying there with him. It was a lot warmer than outside. But knowing her family, they wouldn't be left alone for long, not with her father so close by, "Perhaps we should get up now. Most of camp is probably awake."
"You get to meet the rest of the family," Dari said happily, sitting up on her knees. She pawed through her bag, pulling out a new pair of clothes. She unlaced the back of her deerskin top and let it fall away, "Mama, grandmama, cousins and aunts. Most of the men are still away or dead."
Harold glanced back but blushed and quickly turned his head. "Uh... Yeah, that sounds... Interesting. Will they hate me too, though, since I'm a crow?"
Dari shivered when she felt his fingertips brush against her back. She almost wished he was UNlacing her top instead of lacing it up, "Papa puts on a big scary show. The others aren't quite as intimidating."
Harold chuckled, his fingers deft in his lacing. "He wasn't too bad. You should've met Uldred, a bruiser back in Braavos. Now there was an intimidating guy. He was excellent in his job, and had the strength to back it up."
"He sounds like an interesting guy. What happened to him?" Dari asked, standing up when he finished lacing her shirt. She had to crouch because the tent wasn't high enough for her to stand at full height, but she didn't mind. As if it didn't matter that Harold was standing behind her, she pulled down her pants and kicked them aside, sliding on a clean pair.
"Ah! Warn me!!!" He yelped, turning around. "As for Uldred, he's still a bruiser I think. When I was taken from Braavos he was at least." Harold shrugged.
Harold yipped but shook his head. "No, he was a bruiser for one of the brothels, so I never went there or bothered him at work. He'd talk to me when he was off duty though. He was actually really nice." Harold said with a fond smile
